Lots of shoes to choose from! I love that you could walk or run to get a good feel for the shoe you were wanting before purchasing. Nathan at the Austin location was SO WONDERFUL! He was friendly and kind. He found out what I’d usually like but gave me options a bit out of what I would normally choose, and I ended up purchasing a pair I don’t think I’d ever have chosen on my own but Nathan recommended.

Product selection is good - Service is phenomenal. Noah (at Bakery Square) helped me, my husband and son purchase shoes. He knows what he is doing. My son has Down syndrome and Noah treated him like any other customer- talked directly to him and didn’t look to me or my husband for the answers - that doesn’t always happen. The computer assessment of both my foot dimensions and stride were the main reason I initially went to Fleet Feet. The store had already been recommended by several friends from the fitness center where I am a member. I was impressed by sales associate’ knowledge about the differences in fit from one brand to another and his patience in explaining to me why his recommendations were appropriate for me. An entirely positive experience from the time I entered the store until I completed my purchases.
20 years ago when I trained for my first marathon the group that I was training with brought me to a Run On store who took the time to observe my walking and put me in a Brooks running shoe and I have been coming back ever since for my Brooks. Once while at the store right before the pandemic the employee at the store helped me to set up an account with Fleet Feet to order a new pair. Then the pandemic came and I continued to order my replacement shoes and in time Run On became Fleet Feet and yet the same customer service remains. That is why I would recommend Fleet Feet no other place that I know of observes a new customer walk and put them in the right shoe for the way they walk.
We thought the Soldier Field 10 2023 packet pickup was inside Fleet Feet South Loop location. When we went in the store, a male employee (older male with a ponytail) in a condescending voice told us that the sign outside points to where the pickup is. Honest mistake on our part. We were so excited about the race and were intending on buying new running shoes we ignored his rude comment and decided to shop for shoes there first before getting our packet. After purchasing running shoes, we left to get our packet. Turns out runners received a coupon for 25% off purchase at Fleet Feet! The male employee did not mention to us the coupon. He could have at least recommended for us to pickup our packet so that we could use the coupon for our purchase. Will not be shopping at the South Loop location again.
