I love that it is not just a workout gym. It is a community center where I can meet new friends, get involved with volunteer work, and join in activities. The staff are not only the happiest and friendliest people one can meet; but they strive hard to give great customer service by answering questions, directing a person to programs and giving assistance when needed. I love my Parkview YMCA. As they say to me often, "You belong here!"

I would absolutely recommend the Childwatch program at Jorgensen Family YMCA! The staff is always friendly, attentive, and proactive, they truly go above and beyond to make the children feel comfortable and welcome. My kids love spending time there, which says a lot! There are always fun activities available, and the team consistently prints new coloring pages to keep the kids engaged. It’s clear that the staff genuinely cares about the children in their care. We feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful and trustworthy team looking after our kids.
I enjoy my silver sneakers membership at the Y and use it for the water aerobics class. I've been participating for years in the class and enjoy the many friendships I have made from those classes.
Love seeing the friendly faces at the front desk every morning. I like seeing the same people every day too. It feels like a community.
I work out 3 to 4 times weekly and and enjoy how great the Y is. I am grateful to have this opportunity

Great place to bring the family
I’m a pretty regular Weigand Family YMCA attendee, so I’ve had a great deal of opportunity to participate in classes, use a trainer, workout using almost all the gym equipment and interact with staff. I can say without reservation that my time there is always the absolute best. From stellar training (shout out to Tammy, who is truly exceptional) to effective leadership and management (great job, A.J.), my experiences at this Y are always outstanding. Coming to this branch of Fort Wayne’s YMCAs is a highlight for me because of the gracious welcome, attention to detail and warm atmosphere I always find. Thank you all so much for making the experience so great.

I would rate my experience at the JRL YMCA a 10/10 because it consistently provides a welcoming, supportive, and motivating environment. What I like most about my Y experience is the strong sense of community. You feel encouraged whether you are working out, participating in programs, or just spending time there. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean, well maintained, and equipped with everything I need to stay active. I also appreciate the variety of programs and activities offered, which make it easy to stay engaged and try new things. Overall, it is a positive space that supports both physical health and personal well being.
All of the counselors are AMAZING with the kids! My son LOVES it there! I know he is safe and secure and enjoying himself in the environment.

It’s open all the hours I need, they have every machine I need and they’re always available, it’s clean, and staff is friendly.

I utilize the weight room and the pool areas weekly. These areas are clean and equipment is well maintained.
I've left my baby into Childwatch twice now and he has HATED it (lol) but they've been so nice, contacted me after 10 minutes of crying, and whenever I've come back to get him he's been in someone's arms as they try to comfort him. He's just not used to being anywhere without me, more's the pity, but I feel really comfortable leaving him at the Parkview YMCA Childwatch and will persevere until he grows to love it!
