The staff and all the programs they offer
I enjoy the cheerful people greeting me, the equipment is kept in great shape and the facility is kept clean.
10. Everyone is very friendly and nice!
The front desk is always very friendly when I walk in clean towels are always available. All the instructors for the group classes I take are excellent have taken the time to get to know each person individually they make all new people feel welcome.
Outdoor pool is really the highlight of this Y for famlies. The play equipment is dated and worn. The air hockey table didn't work? I took a 1st grader here after school and there wasn't much to do. I realize that's not what the Y is for, but I was slightly disappointed. I'm sure we'll be thrilled to use outdoor pool in the summer! I do love the Y.
The eGym machines give you a personal workout experience!

We have excellent water aerobics instructors
The staff is kind and professional. The facility is clean and well-taken care of. And Sarah, one of the instructors, is a caring and knowledgeable teacher.
the track
Close by. Reliable. Professional. Plenty for my wife and me. And obviously, plenty for all the other families.
We especially like the Y Central because it's close to where we live and so it makes it more convenient for us. It has everything we need and it always feels like everything is well taken care of and kept clean. The staff is the best! Always very friendly and very helpful.
Nice place
Good facilities. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff.
I like that it’s still growing and the classes are friendly. I love the egym too! Plus I especially love that my neighbor Luke Burnham works there too. 😊
Very friendly helpful staff! I love the way the Y supports our local community, using its space for kids programming, open basketball, help groups, etc. I also love the open flow of the downstairs weight room and the variety of equipment for training.
It's has updated equipment, it's clean. I love the hot tub and I think the price is reasonable for what you get.
Convenience
Good classes and time to meet and exercise with friends
Cleanliness
I really appreciate the welcoming and friendly atmosphere at the Jackson R. Lehman Family YMCA. The leadership team is great. They are supportive, approachable, and genuinely committed to creating a positive experience for both members and staff. The Y also offers a wonderful variety of programs and activities, along with a strong sense of community. It’s a place where individuals and families can feel welcomed, supported, and connected, which is why I would gladly recommend the Jackson R. Lehman Family YMCA to friends and family.
It offers classes and programs just right for me and my interests.
The facility is always clean and welcoming. The staff is fantastic. It’s an excellent opportunity for all members to maintain, improve or recover their health. Really don’t know what I would do without it.
It’s a community where physical fitness is the common denominator but they allow the Christ in YMCA to help balance out the experience.
Workers are real helpful and friendly treated like family at columbia city indiana
