Friendly people and staff
We went out of our way to check out this ymca and me and my kiddos were impressed! We loved the pool and how their splash pad was kids level deep...the only thing this ymca is missing is an indoor play area for kids!!!
I liked the pools the last time we visited with my son ,and the staff is very friendly.

I like the New Haven location, as I live in New Haven.
Very friendly staff! Linda always greets you with a smile and a hello when you come in. The other guys that work the Membership Desk early in the AM are also very friendly and welcoming!

I don't have time right now, but just briefly, for staying or getting in shape, this particular Y is amazing. I don't believe anyone could hope for anything that is not available. And, both staff and members are nice and helpful. Great place.

Not crowded so I can get the machines I want in a reasonable time. A good selection of equipment for various workout processes. Friendly staff, helpful and cheerful.
Silver Sneakers provides the exercise I need. Challenging yet doable. The socialization is also a plus. All in all it's good physically and mentally and spiritually.

I really like the people at the Downtown YMCA. They are so friendly and helpful. And Kate Black is a wonderful teacher for the aqua classes. She is always telling us ways to modify things when we have body parts that aren't working the way they used to do. I'm also grateful that they are making space for unhoused people to use showers there. It shows that they are living their values.
