I like the atmosphere of the Renaissance YMCA. Friendly staff and fun exercising classes.
The Whitley County YMCA is my third place, and I actually do work here. It defeats the whole purpose of a third place, but I’ll happily come here on my days off. Also, Kim is the best boss ever :)

Its always been great. Its very clean the staff are very friendly and helpful and they have a huge variety of equipment which is nice for those of us that really like to challenge ourselves
Friendly staff, well maintained pool and sauna
I’m in advanced Spanish class, I continued with the class for over a year. Spanish is a difficult language to learn. The teacher, Susana, genuinely wants to teach each student her native language. And wants you to speak it correctly. She uses different approaches to learning; to help each student comprehend, using different games to reinforce words. I have recommended the class to others. Last session, someone enrolled and on completion reenrolled in the next session. It’s a fun learning experience! Thank you for continuing to offer this class as an enrichment class. I’m in my 70’s and want to keep active physically and mentally. Thank you again for this class.

Staff are all so friendly! They give me updates when I pick up the kids. They know the kids by name, I feel really relaxed dropping my kids off.
The classes for exercise are the best! The people are so friendly and welcoming. They have exercise equipment you can use everyday!
They have luncheons once a month carry in with the y furnishing the main dish.
The y has an information table right inside the front door to let you know of upcoming events.
