The staff are always friendly and this location is close to home. It gives a variety of outlets for my clients and my family to exert energy in the cold winter months. The sauna and other amenities have been my saving grace for mental health when I could not be outside to be active in the sun.
I like the Parkview YMCA very much. However there is still a problem with younger people using weight machines for long periods of time (5 to10 minutes) because they and sometimes their buddies, are talking, texting or alternating "sets" together. I know you put up written notices on every machine about this but it doesn't seem to be working. Maybe larger print and bolder red print would work. I and some other friends have kindly asked the user(s) if we could break in and use a weight machine. Almost every time they refuse. Very frustrating! If some of the YMCA staff can intervene or mention over the loud speaker occasionally to "Please be respectful of other Y members to refrain from using individual weight machines for long periods of time". Another thing I have noticed is some machines are broken down for weeks at a time. Thank goodness there are other similar machines that we can go to but it breaks up your weight lifting routine to have to go to other areas of the Y.

My favorite Y in Fort Wayne, specifically for the child watch. My daughter loves coming here and I appreciate all of the staff.

The parking lot is almost always in good shape with all of the snow we have had this year.
I have gotten in the best physical shape I have ever been. I have a great trainer who I see twice a month. I lift free weights 3 times a week. I'm treated well by my fellow lifters who are generally much younger than me. I love it! I love walking the track in this bad weather. Everyone is so nice.
My husband has Alzheimer's and I bring him nearly daily to walk around the track also.
The pool water is so warm and therapeutic. Staff in the lobby are always friendly and attentive.
Great facility and equipment for downtown Fort Wayne. Staff is always very welcoming!

Very clean and seems pretty new. Friendly. Good signage so I could easily find where I was going. I liked the amenities in the women’s locker room; Private showers, swimming suit dryer, hair dryers. The water in the pool was comfortably warm. Plenty of convenient parking. It was my first time and I know I will come again.

The group exercise class are fantastic! The instructors work hard at their classes, connect with the members, and give great workouts! I love whitening or with others in this way.
I like the strength training machines.

There are numerous options for working out and taking classes/lessons. We spend a lot of our free time there, and as our kids get older, we will spend even more there.
It's convenient and the equipment I like is usually available. The locker rooms are clean and nice and personnel is helpful

We can come & go as we can. Had some health issues & now trying to get back into walking & maybe adding other equipment.
I enjoyed the class I was taking last summer & there again I'm trying to get up to going back. I enjoyed it.
Personal attention and great equipment
I love it here! Great amenities, wide range of group classes, love that I can go to any gym in the city. I always look forward to coming back! My home gym has a daily quote jar and that is also really encouraging. I’m glad I choose the Y!

Friendly greeters @ front desk, staff willing to stop what they are doing to help you with a machine, show you correct use of machines. Everyone is so friendly. Everything is clean. Proper use of WET signs during this messy weather. I look forward to going to the CC YMCA.
Obviously Jorgensen is a 10/10! However I definitely didn't go to Jorgensen recently, I wonder if one of the other 24 hour branches had the location set incorrectly for that check in.... Hi Amanda and Susan! Have a wonderful Monday and or Tuesday depending on when you see this!
