All around great YMCA. I travel and have been to quite a few Ys around the country, but the NW Cary Y is my favorite. I’m a swimmer and the pool is great for lap swimming. I don’t use the basketball courts, but see a lot of people in there. The weight machines and free weights are outstanding
Classes are back to back. Service at the front is nice and they seem genuinely happy. The instructors( pump and combat? Are awesome.

I love the location of the Northwest YMCA and all of amenities that are offered. I wish that racquetball was available at this location but excited to use all other services.

It allows us to finish work before having to pick up our kids from school. Plus, our kid really enjoys his time there and all the new friends he has made.
Our son loves going to aftercare and he gets upset sometimes if we ‘pick him up early’ as he’s having such a good time.
I love that my girls get to spend time doing crafts, running around with friends, and just generally getting to let loose after school, but are still in an educational setting. They love MOST of the counselors, and beg to stay until the end every day. It’s also reassuring for me to know they are being cared for and enjoying their time while I am at work still.
My kids absolutely love the experience. Sometimes, to my chagrin, they even say that I should not pick them up too early so that they can play more. Not all the time, thankfully. All after-school councilors have been nothing short of outstanding over the past two years.

Love the environment and programs such as school camps, sports and leaders club. I do NOT love that parents can’t let other parents in through the pool deck for year round swim. That’s an issue when people with limited mobility drive swimmers to practice and I don’t see any rationale for that rule as we don’t have to scan in for this activity. Please reconsider. Thanks.
Counselors are great with kids. They put lots of effort to design activities. I really appreciate it.
