The atmosphere is positive and friendly. It supports your sign on the wall that the Christian belief/ philosophy is the basis of all that you do. I could go to another gym for free as part of Silver Sneakers, but I’ll choose to support the Y as long as the sign on your wall is what anchors your programs.

However my husband says the men's locker room smells awful. When we took a tour a year ago he said the same thing. Is it that bad all the time? Please make it better for the men too. Perhaps it needs a full rehab with the floor?
Great YMCA with fantastic amenities and a very nice indoor pool large enough to host lap swim and swim team practice at the same time!
Ease of convenience to my house. I enjoy classes, not really into the machine experience.

People are nice and for the most part, the exercise room and the pool are not overly crowded. I also very much like the Yoga classes.

It's a place that I will never outgrow. As a lot people age they talk about being able to "age in place" and continuing to live in their own home. I feel that in terms of my fitness level, activity level, and a community of like minded people, I will be able to "age in place" at the A.E. Finley YMCA. As I age there will always be programs and activities that I will be able to participate in.
Classes
Facility offers a wide range of resources to use, and programs such as LiveStrong are so important. Your staff and trainers are wonderful...skilled and supportive!
It will be great when the Finley YMCA has located a new TaiChi teacher to replace the marvelous Vicky!!!
What impresses me most is the staff. Their smiling faces as I walk in. Always helpful and willing to assist in any way.
Instructors are so kind and accommodating.
The cleaning staff do a great job in the changing room and bathrooms.

Generally speaking it offers a good equipment access and layout. The hours are wonderful and best of all the steam room and sauna are excellent! Probably the biggest plus is the cost as the value is amazing!
Why was my membership canceled?
Variety of classes, excellent instructors, friendly people, great equipment!!! It's my new happy place 😁
Taking group fitness classes with my daughter at the Y is one of my favorite ways to spend time together. As a parent, it is nice to see her learn to take care of her health and participate in such a positive community.
I love having an indoor and outdoor pool, I hope the outdoor pool continues to stay open year round on selected days
I wish the guest policy would allow out of town guests on Saturday’s and Sundays
I love all the opportunities offered at Finley such as classes, Thrive group, events for families at 4th July and other holidays.

Good value! The Finley Y has been an integral part of our family for more than two decades.
The workout area is spacious and has everything I need for a complete workout.
I like the new treadmills too!
And the Y staff are always kind and welcoming.
