I LOVE the Y!!! The vibrant community, the diversity of membership, the amazing variety of classes and programs offered, the quality of instruction, ... I'm a fairly new member and am so impressed with all that the Y has to offer. I still have a ton more to discover!
Clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, variety of classes, the pool
So far very great! Staff is extremely friendly and kind. Only minor complaint is the quality of the locks in the locker room. I've had to ask a staff member to open my locker twice as the locks have gotten messed up. This could be my error but separate staff members have said this happens all the time with the lockers.

I don’t like the new sign in requirement or the increase of 9% in annual fees. That is more than 3 times the Social Security cost of living increase.
Lots of fitness options, great people, both staff and members!
The instructors are great and very knowledgeable. The variety of classes is also good. There is obviously quite a need in the over 60 set for a place we can go and be sure that our best interests are being seen to.

The fitness classes offered at the A.E. Finley YMCA are excellent and what truly sets this branch apart from other locations are the incredible instructors and friendly staff. The Finley Y is more than just a gym, it is an opportunity to meet wonderful people and feel like part of the community. I’ve enjoyed being a member for 25 years and greatly appreciate everything Finley has to offer!

Love how the pickleball open play is run by Dan and Lisa. Love the cleanliness of the pools and locker rooms. Love the friendliness of the staff. Love the towels.
The people on staff are very helpful and cheerful. The trainers and class instructors are very knowledgeable about their areas of expertise and always help with modifications.

We visited the AE Finley ymca to take a class while the Alexander family ymca is undergoing renovations. The facilities are nice, clean and spacious. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the visit

The Finley Y is my home away from home. I have made many friends there since I moved to Raleigh in 2020. The staff members speak to me and have made me feel welcome and part of what goes on at the Y.
