Great instructors and a nice variety of classes. Weight room is never too crowded. Finley Freedom Fest is always a good time. Coffee never runs out.

The property is too small for membership. I visit others in Charlotte and they all have far more room than AEF.
This was our first summer with Camp Grace and there aren't enough words to say how grateful we are to have found such an amazing place. The counselors were beyond expectations. My child is autistic and had some things we were worried about this summer. They consistently made me feel like my child was taken care of and they were pertaining to his needs and even better, the things he enjoys. They knew he was a little shy but still knew that he lit up at the pool and they embraced it. I have to give the biggest shout out to Ms Hannah for making this all happen. The camp runs smoothly and has different activities for the kiddos. I know it's not an easy job managing all of these things to keep everyone (including employees) interested and happy but Ms Hannah gets it done. I am both impressed and extremely thankful for her dedication in all of this. Thank you Camp Grace !
Camp GRACE is the best thing that has happened for my kiddo! He has learned to get over his fear of water, learned social skills, had fun in a safe way with people who understand and love him. I couldn't ask for more.
So many classes and times
I like the variety of classes and the pool in particular. I wish the locker room in the outdoor pool could be improved. The floor is very slippery and more floor mats would be helpful. Other than that, it's great.
This YMCA is a wonderful facility: friendly staff, an array of activities for all ages, always clean, and really congenial members.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. the instructors are professional and willing to talk with you and suggest different methods to help you do the exercises. I like the mission statement. There is a variety of classes offered at various times. The free coffee and tea is a nice bonus.

I have enjoyed my time at the AE Finley YMCA. I take the Monday 9:00 water class. The teacher is fantiastic. Enjoy the peple that take her class. They are friendly and very welcoming.
Convenient hours of operation and friendly staff.
I have been a member of the YMCA for over 30 years. The pluses are the diverse many ways that you can work out, swimming, walking, exercise classes, weights…. The hours are also favorable. The community engagement and support is also very important . I love the variety without all the fru-fru and frills that really are not needed.
Friendly staff, great location, reasonable cost
The Finley Y is the best. The class instructors are skilled and truly dedicated to teaching fresh and motivating classes. I’m especially partial to the 5:45 crew — Paula, Joy, Lora and the gang all rock. The best part is the culture and community: The staff (and members) are all warm and friendly and always make me feel supported and encouraged. Big fan over here!

I enjoy my Y experience every time. I do have a complaint about all the "camp" children that are brought into the indoor pool during the fitness pool exercise classes. The noise level is deafening. Now the children are very quiet coming out of the locker rooms and into the pool. The leaders get them all wound up and we can barely hear our instructor. I believe it is very unfair to those of us who are regularly using the indoor pool for our class. I want to share our facilities with the "campers", but can't their pool time take place after our classes are finished?
One other point I must make. The lady (girls) lifeguard suits are much too skimpy. I feel they are most inappropriate for the Y. The male life guards can't take their eyes off the backsides of these gals.
As I said, I enjoy my Y experience every day. All of the staff are very friendly, helpful and go above and beyond in every way. BTW, the flag needs replaced.

Easygoing, friendly staff at the check in counters. Incredibly clean & spacious Studio for Zumba. Instructor, Cuqui, is amazing!!!
We visited the outdoor pool with our children for the first time in a few years (we belong to a pool/tennis club closer to home), and were so pleased by the experience. The lifeguards were so friendly and professional. I loved the announcement for adult swim. My son was able to get a swim band test lined up quickly so he could enjoy the pool for the rest of the time we were there. Everything was very clean, and the pool was a perfect temp. We will certainly be back!

This is what my granddaughter said on her last day this week when I asked her if she would like to come back. She said she wanted to come back every year until she aged out and THEN she wanted to be a counselor.
If that is not a ringing endorsement of your day camp I don't know what is!!

Safe, friendly environment. Great life guards. They are incredibly patient, even with irksome parents who want them to ignore poor swim band test results and award their child a swim band!
However, I wish there were more swim lanes in the outdoor pool, especially in the mornings or during times when children are in school.
