Reasonable cost, great exercise choices and friendly staff.
We have visited multiple locations across the country and this is certainly one of the better ones.
Quick feedback on things that can be improved:
1) Reminding people of the need to wipe down the equipment, some of the people that work there are the worst offenders which sets a bad message
2) The check in process is a bit slow sometimes
3) There are too many people that are inconsiderate and hug machines for too long while on their phones. How about not allowing phones? That would be a great concept.
Facility is well-maintained & the staff is always helpful.

The people
My daughter was well cared for and her counselors worked hard to understand her communication style and needs. We received a summary of her day since she's someone who cannot communicate that herself... And it was the best feeling, reading what she had done and how she felt about it... It also allowed us to have better conversations at home because I could ask her specific things about her day, that she might not have been able to verbalize by herself.
I also truly appreciate that she received a swim lesson each day because water safety is invaluable.
the Finley Y is a great facility, the staff and instructors are amazing, and the members create an encouraging environment.
I like the staff and the classes
Everything as amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Rosemary’s core class was excellent!!
My son had an awesome time at the A.E Finley YMCA Camp. Every day he came home happy and tired. Loved all of the crafting, fun plan, and Talent presentations.
We have loved sending our son to YMCA Day CAMP at A.E. Finley. He always had a tough time with drop offs and everyone there made him feel safe and cared for. Will definitely recommend this camp to others as well as return next summer! Thank you guys!

I’ve had such a great experience at this YMCA! The facility is always clean, organized, and well-maintained, and there’s a great variety of equipment and spaces available. The staff is also incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about providing a great experience for members. I’m really happy I chose this YMCA and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped facility with great staff!
Everything seems great! It’s our first summer, Mav is happy and dirty which means he’s likely loving it. Thanks to all the counselors.
The counselors kept my son entertained all day each day. He loved singing songs, dancing and all of the different activities!
Great variety of machines on the weight floor. The childcare is super helpful. Love the pool(s).
The staff are incredible! Every one of them have been so easy to work with and welcoming to my kid. He loves coming every week. I know he's being taken great care of and has lots of fun.
The outdoor pool is excellent
1. Counselors were excellent and engaged. 2. Outside all day. 3. Learning to make friends with all different types of people.

ALTHOUGH I wish there would be a Tai Chi Class and more Chair Yoga classes

My kids had the best time every year they went to Finley Day Camp. We came back year after year b/c of the well organized and fun camp experience
I love Finley YMCA! There is a diversification of classes that is unique to fit all abilities. I would love a class that was tailored for people with osteopenia/osteoporosis.
Our son had a fabulous experience at YMCA Day Camp. He made new friends, enjoyed arts and crafts, and learned important life skills. We saw his confidence blossom throughout day camp and appreciate the loving environment the staff worked so hard to create. Thank you!

Usually well run, occasionally things aren't working, but they try to communicate those proactively
Ugly:
I would like to see the water fountains in the indoor pool kept clean. I think they've been cleaned ONCE this year as an example. Not enticing to use them when they look filthy and prefer to use them given their location to fill water and energy bottles, rinse googles, etc.
