Staff is INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly!!
Parker + Justin at desk are GREAT!!
My spin class leaders are fantastic: Maura + Lia.
Same with my yoga instructors: Sharon, Meredith and Yvette.
Cleaning staff does a great job keeping all areas clean.

Appreciated the time that my daughter spent swimming, playing outside, making new friends. Counselors and staff were responsive and friendly!

What do you like about your Camp at the Lake experience?

All 3 of my kids have been Camp at the Lake campers for the past 3 years, and they LOVE it! They look forward to it every year (Color Wars Week is their favorite)! I was so nervous about a full-day 100% outdoor camp (what about the lake, the weather, the rain the BUGS?!), but they are the least bit concerned about that stuff. They do SO many activities and don't even miss the devices or the TV while they are there! They come home hungry, exhausted and full of stories about their daily adventures. Camp at the Lake's family day is also top tier! It's the camp experience I wish I had as a child.

What do you like about your Camp at the Lake experience?

This is our third year with Camp at the Lake. Our little "rookie" joined this year and she loves it as well. The counselors, CITs and life guards are all very nice, and the activities are all entertaining. Kids look forward to their three weeks at the lake very summer. So glad this is offered, and bus stop is not too far from home.

What do you like about your New Discoveries experience?

We had a fantastic summer at New Discoveries! The counselors and staff were all friendly, approachable and seemed to really enjoy being there with the kids. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating to special requests. The activities kept my children engaged and having fun. All of my children met new friends and really blossomed this summer. Thank you for everything!

What do you like about your Camp at the Lake experience?

My daughter complains about every camp she goes to. This was not the case with Camp at the Lake. She loved it!

My kid returned happily exhausted from camp which is great! She always had fun there and counselors were kind.

What do you like about your Geyer Family YMCA - Membership experience?

I could not be more pleased with the way the staff at this location engage my three year old. She has been to three programs so far and every week I am moved by how the instructors teach and guide her. They are exceptional!

We love Camp at the Lake. This camp has been a great experience for our child. We love the professionalism and the intentionality of the activities and themes. Our child has really enjoyed attending.

My son loves New Adventures camp! From the program activities, to the counselors and his old and new friends! Last year he went to 2 different camps and asked to return only to New Adventures! The director is always present and available and they are responsive and keep our kids entertained and happy!

What do you like about your New Discoveries experience?

New Discoveries camp is a wonderful youth program for kids. Our daughter loves attending and the staff is fantastic. We only hope that we are able to get a spot in next year’s camp.
