My five-year-old daughter had a wonderful summer at New Discoveries. She made lots of new friends and had super kind, very fun counselors. She loved the swimming and outdoor play and crafts.

Wonderful counselors
Staff and patrons are all friendly and courteous. Also, there's plenty of equipment to use at all times of the day. Finally, there's a variety of classes with excellent trainers. I've been a member for over 20 years and it gets better every day!

We have loved New Discoveries camp this year. The counselors are all caring, enthusiastic and fun! Activities are varied and very engaging for both our 6 year old and 4 year old. They come home everyday excited to tell us about their adventures.

My boys love the gaga pit and aqua park. They have been going to CATL for three years now. They are learning about science and nature while having fun. They are building friendships and wonderful memories with other campers and camp counselors.

Our daughter loved her experience here. To us it doesn't seem like a job for the counselors, it seems more like a passion. A very happy place to be.
My daughter is really enjoying the Explorer's Camp program. One thing I would like to see improved would be better communication between the the program and the parents. For example, the kids went to Jenkinson's Boardwalk the other day, and we weren't sure if we should pack a bathing suit and towel or not, so we brought everything. A clear, straight forward pack list would be amazing for trip days.
My kids have been going for years and cannot wait to go back year after year. Besides a wonderful experience, it’s a great value for the parents.

This was my son's first year doing Camp at the Lake and he really enjoyed it! He's age 7 and was in Junior Village and he came home daily with stories about new friends he made. The Color Wars day was a highlight and he talked about it all weekend! Though he said the days were long, he was also disappointed that he did not get to stay late for aftercare. A few things he didn't like were the port-a-potties and how long it took for everyone to line up and change at the end of the day.
Variety of classes, pools, variety off exercise equipment
YBA was amazing! My son spend 5 week with the camp and first- learned a lot, second- he made friends, third- further developed his love for this sport. The couches are hands on and you can tell that they care. OLL is also a great location. I guess the only downside to the location is how hot it is inside. AC would have been nice. Or perhaps more sprinkler days. Also, big plus when you introduced one quick pool trip. Two of them a week or just a bit longer than 30 would be nicer. All good- we are happy with everything.

Our experience with the camp has been wonderful. My daughter comes home every day with exciting stories about her adventures. She particularly enjoyed the swimming sessions t the Y.
I want to commend the incredible staff. The counselors have been exceptional, always greeting us with warm smiles and making the kids feel valued and cared for.
Overall, our experience has been overwhelmingly positive.
Thank you once again for all that you do. We are already looking forward to next summer and the wonderful experiences it will bring.
