they figured out what new shifter would work well with my older bike. They were very friendly and helpful. The store has rather high end equipment , rather good but also a bit expensive. I plan to come back for more service and products.

Your products and services are a bit limited, BUT: a) you're a neighbourhood store (welcome t the neighbourhood, by the way); b) your people are well-informed and NOT the least bit snobbish; c) your passion for helping people regardless of their ability/experience comes across in every interaction.
