All the help for the realtors.
The affiliates themselves. Mainstreet does not necessarily get us business from realtors...but we do get a lot of business from other affiliates! The staff at Mainstreet is amazing. Ron, Amy, Ramona, etc...they are so easy to work with and do such a great job.
MORE is unable to provide education services to members located far away from the Downers Grove in Far Northwest suburbs or through webinars. Most valuable events take place in Downers Grove an other location 80 miles away from my office. Education "on demand" should be the way to go for the board covering such a huge geographical area.

The Fee for Appraiser is to high
Email notices of what's going in real estate, offer classes or one day seminars (tho I haven't been able to hardly attend many), updates on the mls system, and notices on municipal proposals or new ordinances such as sign ordinances and points of sale ordinance, etc, it helps keep informed as we often travel thru several towns all over.
The one day code issues is a very real issue. It is "punishing" those who follow the rules for the schmucks who should lose MLS privileges for a period of time, pay a fine , take a course on "how to to things right in real estate" and have their real estate license suspended for a period of time for being naughty.
We lost control of our listings and have to pay a fortune for leads. Now Zillow uses our production against us by posting our sales and current number of listings. No other business I know of allows an outside company to post individual sales agent production numbers. Big mistake!!!
Your dues are cheaper than Three Rivers otherwise I would be a part of that board. I also like the lunch and learn opportunities that you have.

They are always available to answer our questions. And even when they seem like ridiculous questions, they are always courteous & helpful.

My husband and I are both licensed. He stopped in Tinley yesterday to pay our dues. First he had to wait over 1/2 hour to be helped because the person there was on the phone and no one else was there. Secondly, he paid for our dues as one payment but we were charged 2 service fees? Why because he was told that is how it is done....for a lousy $10 I think that is pitiful considering we always pay on time and to be this petty.....he was told next time do it online......well, that is fine but we wanted to pay it together as one bill not separately. I just think that really is not what should be done to any member. Our dues were paid and we are penalized for paying.....Go figure.
Sentrilock told me that it was Mainstreet that eliminated the 1 day code.
Not being able to provide a 1 day code for another agent, appraiser, contractor, etc. is
a headache. There are times when you can't always be there or the property is not just in your town. Having to be there to let someone in is not always easy as you may think. The one day code on the sentrilock box must come back. I preparing just to switch over to the combo boxes. Seemed like just a way to force all agents to buy into the system; however, many still did not.
You did not disappoint me...after 13 years of membership I'm not sure what I get? Access to the MLS and a place to take CE...
