Yes.
My husband and I are both licensed. He stopped in Tinley yesterday to pay our dues. First he had to wait over 1/2 hour to be helped because the person there was on the phone and no one else was there. Secondly, he paid for our dues as one payment but we were charged 2 service fees? Why because he was told that is how it is done....for a lousy $10 I think that is pitiful considering we always pay on time and to be this petty.....he was told next time do it online......well, that is fine but we wanted to pay it together as one bill not separately. I just think that really is not what should be done to any member. Our dues were paid and we are penalized for paying.....Go figure.
Sentrilock told me that it was Mainstreet that eliminated the 1 day code.
Not being able to provide a 1 day code for another agent, appraiser, contractor, etc. is
a headache. There are times when you can't always be there or the property is not just in your town. Having to be there to let someone in is not always easy as you may think. The one day code on the sentrilock box must come back. I preparing just to switch over to the combo boxes. Seemed like just a way to force all agents to buy into the system; however, many still did not.
You did not disappoint me...after 13 years of membership I'm not sure what I get? Access to the MLS and a place to take CE...

You had Sentrilock take away the one day codes, a functionality the lock boxes still have but we are blocked from using. These codes were a key reason that I was ok with the conversion to sentrilock.

I'm not sure how I would recommend the Organization anyway. If you are a Realtor in the region, you don't have an option. With regard to the service, it is fine, but I don't sense a strong commitment to benefit Realtors other then to enforce regulations. The fees also come at a bad time of year.

Major decissions over years have been made without member input. Specifically my best examole of a worst case was the conversion to Sentrilock's electronic lock boxes years ago without member choice. Then subsequent failure of the same boxes now out of warranty needing to be replaced at a considerable cost. The attitude is clear. They are old. What did you expect? deal with it!
I have been an office manager through the whole process. Still remember the change was announced as a matter of fact and membership could do nothing to change the decission. It's a prevailing attitude that we need to be told what is right for us.
Vendors are constantly being selected without membership input. We are told not asked.

I haven't always been given good answers when I have made an inquiry. For instance, how do I put the sale of a business without real estate, but with a sublease, into the MLS? I list quirky properties that don't always fit the mold. I also would like the option of listing a property in more than one category, like a farm that had a residence, agricultural land and a used car lot.
You don't disappoint at ALL. I just don't ever have the opportunity to recommend it.

They are always available to answer our questions. And even when they seem like ridiculous questions, they are always courteous & helpful.
