Here in Ipswich there isn't much to do for my teens. So they are always going and using the pool. I have cancer and in active treatment which makes it hard to bring kids like in the past when they where younger. This ymca has great staff and great life guards so I never have to worry because I am not there. Thank you very much

Great variety of group exercise classes days and evenings, talented and engaging staff, local friendly vibe. The Y also does a great job of engaging with and supporting the community - food drives, day care, low-income housing and in and on.

I have had a great experience since joining the Ipswich Family YMCA within the last two years. I began with Fit for Life after a long period of little exercise. The instructors, especially Kerri O'Connor but also including Judy and on occasion, Patrick, have been really great. They are knowledgable, engaging and working for class members' success. I have since tried a few other classes and my wife and I joined the Fall beginner Pickleball league, which just concluded, and also played with people we met during open gym time. Overall, the Ipswich Y provides a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for all its members - from young families to older folks trying to stay healthy. That feeling is evident the moment Missy greets you at the door with a smile and a welcome. I highly recommend the Ipswich Family YMCA to anyone, of any age or interest level.

It is a great place to exercise and meet up with friends, or make friends. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Most class instructors are very knowledgable in what they do.

I think custodians need to do a better job checking soap in the men's locker room showers. There have been times when weeks go by when there is no soap in the showers but other than that, I love the Ipswich Y. People are friendly and the facility is very well run.

Excluding the new app (it’s not very good), the Ipswich/Rowley Y is excellent. The men’s locker room could use a rehab!
Friendly people, variety of exercise activities. Would like more pickleball gym time, perhaps Sunday afternoon.
I love the Y and its mission. The Ipswich Family Y is a small facility but it is home to a friendly, supportive community.
