The program is engaging, fun and fosters independence in the water. The class is not too large and the kids are in the water almost the entire time - which is very different from many of the classes we have taken where the kids sit on the side for most of the class
The instructors!! They are so patient with both of my kids. They take the time to be one-on-one with them and they encourage them to be engaged and get out of their comfort zone. I also appreciate the timing of the lesson. We have done half hour lessons and they feel like they are over before they have really even gotten comfortable in the water. I feel as though the length of time is just right.

The variety and different times available
Having not stepped foot in a gym in over 40 years, I found Ipswich to be welcoming and supportive on my first visit. A huge greeting from the front desk, an introduction to one of the instructors who happened to be walking by and my orientation with Tiffany all gave me the sense of belonging. I wasn't sure what to expect as an older woman who asked a lot of questions and was very unsure of whether she'd fit in. I left an hour later with a working knowledge of the fitness equipment, knowing that the staff is there to make my journey successful. I can't wait to join a few classes and get started with my new membership.

Instructors are fun and friendly
Nice facilities, friendly staff. Now, however, I would apply the caveat of the security issue. I think, unfurtunately, the theivery is coming from a member of the Y or an acquaintance. I found half of my missing item in the lobby of the y; of course, the other half was gone.
Pickleball!
I joined to lose weight. The Y's hours and facilities are convenient and effective. It's easy to slip into a good routine, which includes loosening up in the pool and winding down in the steam room. I'm also grateful that I'm able to place my membership on hold for short periods not only for medical reasons but for vacations. However, thanks to the Y's national membership I'm able to exercise at other Y's when I'm away. No excuse for me not to lose weight!
I’ve beeen a member for decades. I wish the pool deck was warmer, but otherwise it is a great place
We love the Y. Close to home. It's clean, Perfect for something to do in winter. The Cyber, the Elliptical, still want to try the pool and some yoga.
Friendly, clean, positive spirit...esp. when the men's locker room steam room is working properly...that's been a disappointment of late.
Such a wonderful loving environment.
Good facilities and programs
The facilities, gym equipment and swimming pool offer all the options for my personal fitness program. The y Ipswich team (lifeguards, reception, fitness trainers) are first rate professionals and great people.
