The facility is always clean, equipment is in good repair, excellent variety of classes, and the staff is very pleasant. I feel good walking in, while I’m there, and when I leave.
The secret sauce that makes the Ipswich YMCA awesome is the friendly staff, clean facility and great members…when you mix them all together it makes Ipswich the place to be.

Love the people and the facilities are good. I've always been able to get a swim lane for laps.
I also love the reciprocity so I can go to the Beverly or Danvers locations when those are more convenient.

The Ipswich YMCA is a warm and welcoming place - every time I go there I am welcomed with a hello at the front desk. Honestly it makes me smile and feel like part of the Y family.
I always tell my friends about the great yoga/Pilates teachers and how great the classes are. I also have noticed that the frequency of offered classes has gotten much better since covid concerns went away. Please keep that up!!!
I do think that there needs to some sort of control on the number of folks that attend classes. In many classes that is not an issue but if it gets overcrowded, then it becomes challenging to offer high-quality classes and have enough equipment.
We love that the Ipswich Y is convenient, welcoming and offers so many options for exercise. We have become regulars and we’re really enjoying our membership and our fitness level is much improved year round.
