The Ipswich YMCA is a warm and welcoming place - every time I go there I am welcomed with a hello at the front desk. Honestly it makes me smile and feel like part of the Y family.
I always tell my friends about the great yoga/Pilates teachers and how great the classes are. I also have noticed that the frequency of offered classes has gotten much better since covid concerns went away. Please keep that up!!!
I do think that there needs to some sort of control on the number of folks that attend classes. In many classes that is not an issue but if it gets overcrowded, then it becomes challenging to offer high-quality classes and have enough equipment.

I’m a relatively new member, just becoming a member this past July. What I found most inviting is the team members that are working here. Its sad to say but it’s rare to go into almost every facility, retail establishment, restaurant, etc and receive a warmer welcome than I have received at the Ipswich Y! Every time I walk past the reception area, I am greeted with a welcome and a smile. What better way to start off my day.

The facility
Kind, patient, knowledgeable and flexible. Now we just need to add adaptive swim lessons!
Love the people and the facilities are good. I've always been able to get a swim lane for laps.
I also love the reciprocity so I can go to the Beverly or Danvers locations when those are more convenient.
