What do you like about our program and activities?

Great program and very caring staff. My kids feel safe and always have a good time. The staff keeps me updated if anything happens, which I really appreciate. The facility is clean, and I feel confident leaving my children in their care

What do you like about our program and activities?

The YMCA afterschool program at East Vets has been a wonderful experience for my kindergartener. It made my daughter’s entry into public school extra supported, with incredible staff - all of whom had the most friendly and positive personalities each day. My daughter looked forward to the YMCA group every day, it was extra incentive to enjoy school - and it provided enrichment that I didn’t even anticipate. It’s been a fantastic year and we appreciate the staff so much.

It is a large, airy facility with loads of equipment and lots of classes. I also love egym. plus the price for seniors is really great.

Terrific facilities with full range for gym, swim, exercise opportunities. Sufficient machines and equipment to keep your exercise rotations efficient even when the Y is busy. Friendly, helpful staff. Couldn't be happier with the Y option and wa happy to give up my Lifetime membership for this optional 1/3 of the cost! Thank you, Y!

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

The Y is a huge part of the reason I visit Gloucester so much. I schedule my flights around the classes (especially the aqua ones) and actually feel like I’m missing a part of my day on the rare occasion it’s closed for a holiday. No matter what day I’m having, when I enter that parking lot, by body feels like it’s going to be taken care of. It’s my happy place and I love the people there as well-amazing staff :)

Besides the facility being absolutely gorgeous, bright sunny just delightful to look at, the person at the front desk and the person orienting us to the E gym. We’re both so kind and patient and it was a great experience. Thank you.

I like the vibes. It always feels clean and community minded. I think it’s a great place for both beginners and more advanced fitness folks. Overall there’s an air of inclusion rather than intimidation and I like that in a gym.
