One month ago I personally had a great experience so today I decided to bring in my son to get ready for his senior portrait…

Brought my son in for a trim. He has long hair on top. I made it very clear to Jake the hair stylist that he likes it long on top. I also showed Jake a picture of how long he likes it. Asked for the MVP package as well.

Jake starts by going short only on the sides while keeping his long hair held on top. So far so good. But as the cut continues, he starts to trim away the top of his hair. In a few minutes it went from a few centimeters to a few INCHES off from all sides. His hair used to fall in front of his eyebrows and now 1/2 his forehead is showing. Extra butchering continued in the back where only 2 INCHES was left!! It was even left choppy at that.

VERY DISAPPOINTED with this experience!

Ashely is one of the best stylist I've had cut my hair. She listens to what you want, asks any revelant questions and does exactly what I've asked for.
In as far as sports clips is concerned, the facility is clean, relaxed, and all the staff is incredibly friendly, courteous, and helpful.
The cut was a wonderful experience.

Almost EVERY time I go there, I get a great haircut. This is any location in Southern California. The treatment from staff is great, and I never thought I'd like the towel on the face or the head massage, but it's nice. I leave feeling relaxed and looking good.

The person that cut my hair spent more time pushing hair product on me than actually cutting my hair. She asked to wash my hair without telling me it cost more. She told me I am losing my hair. The hair cut also had spots of hair that were not cut around my ears. She was also sitting in the chair talking to another employee while I was the only person waiting in the lobby until the manager told her to get up and help me.

I've been coming in to Sport Clips, Newbury Park, since January, 2020. I have very curly/fuzzy hair, and I have a difficult time finding a hairdresser who knows how to cut it properly. I met Nikki, at that time, and absolutely LOVED the cut she gave me !!! I've been requesting her, ever since! She is friendly, cares about the job she does, and the salon is ALWAYS clean, and up-beat, when I come in! Thank you, Nikki, and Sport Clips !!!

The appointment process worked smoothly, which at other places it hasn't always.
I feel a professional job was done by the person who served me that day.

They are very polite they do professional cuts and even wash and condition your hair only barber shop I go to now!
