Always friendly staff, very clean facility, variety of equipment available, huge basketball gym and many great classes are offered. Overall, just a great gym, one of our favorites! Our family always looks forward to the next time we go.
It seems that the Tandy is edging out older people. If a person cannot fully participate in the exercise classes currently being offered (pilates, boot camp, strength training, power yoga), then they must go elsewhere to exercise. Silver Sneakers is no longer offered, Certified-trainer Osteoparosis classes are going away. Reformer Pilates is the only class
Variety
I enjoy the exercise classes. The instructors make it fun and there is normally good positive energy in the group exercise classes.
The Y truly is for everyone and I love that!
I especially enjoy the way all of the group classes focus on functional living skills with an emphasis on being healthy and strong. Very practical!
The pools are wonderful as well. The temperature of a lap pool is important and the Y generally keeps the lap pool cool enough that lap swimmers don't overheat.

Everything is fantastic--so many classes and times to choose from and very friendly staff!
So far people have been friendly and helpful, the facility well kept up, and the classes challenging but not overwhelming.
Very unhappy about the news that Linda (yoga teacher) is leaving the Y! She has been an inspiration and a true leader and will be sorely missed. Get her back!

I really like the variety of classes that are offered. The teachers are excellent and can handle several skill levels in the same class.
The child care is outstanding. Activities are planned for the children while parents are taking classes. An excellent system.

All staff members are helpful and encouraging. Members are friendly. There’s something for everyone regardless of of age or conditioning.

I wish the current challenge was for everyone. I join them all, and have actually won before. Its unfair for those of us who do them regularly, we can't join because we arent OSU alumni or faculty. There are none available for the general public, that's very disappointing.
