This swim program is head and shoulders above the daily ymca. Our kids learned a great deal about swimming in level one. They learned what it took to make it to level two and worked towards those goals. At the end of the two weeks the instructor talked to each kid on their level physically and told them what they did great and what they could improve on and we appreciated that! My son moved on to level two and my daughter stayed in level one but unfortunately we did those lessons closer to our house in bixby and had a terrible experience. We will definitely be making the drive to Tandy so that we won’t waste our money at the daily.
The hikes are fun and so are the swim breaks! Basketball 🏀 is fun too!

Clean, safe pool and changing areas. Nice play space with lots of windows for children of members to play while their parents are working out.

Tandy Family YMCA is a state of the art facility with a great atmosphere for the entire family.
The number of staff on duty and they are all helpful and happy to be there. The number of activities that you offer above traditional “gyms”. Relaxed atmosphere with no muscle heads grunting and families of all shapes and sizes.
Full gym and classes
You are still having having problems with safety on the parking lot. Another elderly lady had her purse snatched yesterday. Are you going to wait until somebody is seriously injured before you do something besides cameras?
No comment about programs and activities. I go to same classes except Zumba Gold. Only go on Tues and skip Thurs- that class is just not worth my time.

Water classes
I like the helpful, friendly, encouraging staff. I enjoy taking classes with friends. I love the strength train class. I love that I have so many locations and times to choose from. I go to 3 different Y’s and some of my friends go to more.

I love the diversity of those utilizing the center and I especially love that it has activities for my husband and I AND our son! I love that we can all go together and that our son can have a great time in classes and in “kids club” (what we call it)!!

Good equipment and always clean with personnel available to assist you with any training needs you have. Great pools and lots of programs available and no feeling of being judged by others

We like everything about the Tandy Family YMCA and we are so happy that we decided to become members. Our whole family loves the swimming pool and we use the weight room and treadmills regularly. We haven't taken advantage of any classes yet, but look forward to trying out the Yoga classes as soon as we can!
