Jamie's bodypump class is amazing. She does a great job of encouraging and challenging us. Sally and the nice young man who greet me early in the morning are wonderful too.
One critique: why the vending machine with all the unhealthy snacks? Seems like it goes against what you're trying to help people avoid.
I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER AT THIS Y FOREVER. I LOVE THE PEOPLE BUT.....THE EQUIPMENT IS GETTING OLD AND SINCE I'M 75 AND HAD BACK SURGERY MULTIPLE TIMES - THEY TOOK THE HAMSTRING MACHINE THAT I WAS USING YEARS AGO IN WHICH YOU LAY DOWN ON YOUR STOMACH AND WORK YOUR HAMSTRINGS THAT WAY. IT WAS NOT A STRAIN ON MY BACK AND THEREFORE THERE IS NO EQUIPMENT FOR ME TO USE TO WORK MY HAMSTRINGS AS BEFORE. I NEED TO KEEP MY LEGS AND CORE STRONG TO KEEP MY BACK OUT OF PAIN. I WOULD EVEN BE WILLING TO PAY FOR ANOTHER PIECE OF EQUIPMENT THAT IS SIMILAR TO IT. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THAT WOULD BE AN OPTION BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE MISS THIS EQUIPMENT MACHINE AND DON'T WANT TO SAY ANYTHING. I HAD PURCHASED 10 OF THE LARGE HONEYWELL FANS YEARS AGO FOR THE Y.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU ADVIZE.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The gym area is always clean and there is a great selection of equipment. I love the 24 hour access and have used this a few times.

My wife and I are founding members of Victory YMCA and now we are enjoying retirement as Silver Sneakers and love all that YMCA offers to the community young and old.
I like that it is now open 24hrs and you can attend on your schedule. I think the morning staff is great and should be recognized. Working for the ymca in new York for eleven years in the position of sports coordinator I support the Ymca and how it makes a difference within the community.
