Some friends of mine told me I needed to get my new bike fitted professionally in order to have the best ride possible. I checked out a few shops, asked some friends and finally made the call to Sweet Pete's and booked the fitting with Mitch.
Truly one of the best consultations / customer experiences I have ever had. The knowledge he has is remarkable to say the least. I learned so many new things I had no idea about in my 10 years of riding. The communication style and personality made the experience feel like a hangout with that friend who just happens to be an expert. I walked away with a greater understanding of my own bodys geometry and how I fit / ride my bike. Leaving the shop I could feel a difference in my connection with the pedals and the improvement was obvious both in my comfort and performance.
I will be bringing any and all bikes to Mitch in the future and using Sweet Pete's for all other bike needs!

After an initial hiccup, Sweet Pete's staff and service came through, again (3rd bike, shop is not local for me but worth the drive)!
Initially called in about potentially buying a bike (was still in box, needed to be built before we could test). Sales desk person said Service backlog was 3 weeks... I noted that my son was moving out to BC in 2 weeks... Sales said that they would have Service call back. No call for 3-4 days. Drove down (45 min away) and spoke with James, who apologized for the non call-back - said the current Service backlog looked to be 5 days... got a call 2 days later saying bike was built and ready for a test ride... in to see James for the test ride, great advice on accessories - happy buyer!

I have yet to hear back from anyone regarding my helmet replacement - I brought in my helmet that broke and was still under warranty almost a year ago.... No one has contacted me with any updates. I have visited the store several times to check in but still no follow ups.

I thought the advice I received suited my needs and experience. The 30 day warranty if I didn’t like the bike was also a factor as I was not able to ride the bike before making my decision. Sweet Pete’s is quite out of the way for me but knowing I could say no if the bike wasn’t for me sealed the decision for me.
BTW, I am very pleased with my choice.
