Fast and professional
I felt like many of the staff were uninterested in interacting with me. I just moved to the city and was hoping to find a bike shop that would be my new go to shop and I didn’t leave feeling particularly welcomed like I have in my past home bike shops unfortunately.

I was charged for a 2 min procedure. Getting a new tire into the wheel.
I brought the rear wheel of my Kona bike (took out by myself) with a new WTB tire and new tube, explained that i had been struggling for an hour trying to get it in.
I know the shop is there for business, but a bit of customer appreciation (I’ve bought 4 bikes in the last 6 years (2 Rona and 2 Trek) won’t ruined your profit.

I went in on a day that happened to be quite busy. I ended up with a couple of problems after my purchase that could have been avoided if there was a standardized process or checklist used before anyone walks out the door with their purchase. I purchased a floor-model e-bike. I was sent home with the wrong charger....although it was in the correct, but previously opened box (stock-management issue?). The bike was not checked out for road-readiness prior to my departure in spite of my raising some concerns after my test-ride.
Staff were quite responsive resolving these problems - so good marks for that, but it also took a lot of my time and effort that shouldn't have been needed.
I also found that staff knowledge of the e-bikes was inconsistent. This is a rapidly growing market. I don't know what the profit margins are, but the people planning to spend thousands on a bike want to feel confident in their supplier.

I test rode a showroom verve+ 3 and when I decided to purchase one was told it was the only one available. I was guaranteed the bike had no damages.
During pick up I noticed a few frame scratches and when I pointed them out was assured that these were likely from shipping and was offered a $100 discount. I also noticed damage on the rear fender from previous test rides but decided to overlook them.
In my excitement to take the bike home, what I did not notice was considerable damage to the left grip, which I initially attributed to me maneuvering the tight corners of my building street exit until I later found the same damage on the left pedal, and kickstand. These are indicative of a drop on concrete or asphalt that never happened to the bike under my watch.
I’m disappointed I was knowingly sold a bike with extensive damage even after asking multiple times. Ultimately it’s my fault I did not pay close attention during pickup but my trust in the shop won’t be the same after this.
