Poor customer service. Whoever First name removed in shipping is doesn't seem to understand.
I'll try to get over there today to pick them up, but honestly after this whole ordeal, y'all couldn't just ship it?
You guys are the 'best bike shop in Toronto ', so perhaps it doesn't matter what I think, but at this point I'm likely only ever coming to your shop one more time, so I can pick up the lock and the bell.
If you would just ship them to my house, I'll confirm to anyone who asks that you are the best and that you went out of your way to help me.

Staff at my recent visit were really great and engaged in good customer service. I appreciated receiving answers for my bike questions from mechanics at the store.
Last fall I asked some of the same questions and didn't get answers from your sales staff leaving me dissatisfied with my experience. I would recommend sales staff make the effort to find answers to customer's questions so that customers can be well informed.

Shipping is disappointingly slow to get out the door. Everything else is great!
Always a good experience, but the last two times felt like we didn't have the usual care and attention from the staff. Two areas I would like to highlight and appreciate the chance to share them are:
1. 50% credit on swapping bikes:
Before purchasing my son's new bike via the Trek site, we called Sweet Pete's and the staff member said we'd have no problems with getting the 50% credit for his existing bike. Once in store to pick up the new bike (3 weeks later), the staff said they couldn't give the credit because it was purchased at Trek. We articulated what we were instructed and surprised at the new information. My wife was asked to pull up an email to show previous correspondence (we had it also by email) that these terms were expressed to us. While she was looking up the email the staff told her 'never mind' and indeed processed the 50% discount. We appreciated his help and discernment to see we were telling the truth. My wife and I still aren't sure why there was a discrepancy but the experience alone made my wife say when we walked out of the store - 'I'm not sure if I want to go back there. Doesn't feel good to have to prove what you were instructed to do. It makes you feel like a liar.'
2. Failure by staff to engage:
This bike swap was for our 6 year old son and first visit to your store. We were all excited to bring him in to pick up his birthday gift, a brand new bike - which we all know is a huge deal at that age.
None of the staff acknowledged he was there.
Even after the bike was rolled out, it was placed by the cash and the staff just went back to the computer. My wife and I wasn't sure what was the happen so we just observed him working the computer and processing the transaction. We looked at each other a little confused with the lack of recognition. Once he said we were all set I had to ask him 'can you please make sure the seat height is fine for him' which he politely did and had my son sit and stand with the bike.
All in all, it wasn't a sour experience, but also not a sweet one. Our previous experiences have always validated the name - Sweet Pete's. :)

Good service, good people
Good information on Product which was in stock. Ordered online and received confirmation the product would be in stock 7 to 10 days. The following day i was ntified the part was in stock.
I liked the very fast, attentive service from the moment I walked in until I left. I appreciated the rep I worked with, consulting on what we needed, looking at options beyond the first bike we looked at (though we ended up buying that one), and thinking of other considerations we hadn't discussed, when I asked him.
Your team is friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to try to find a solution and make sure you are happy with your bike/parts/fit.
