Service Technician Max was very skilled, he assisted me by answering all questions about my e-tandem and the related app eTube Project for Shimano EP-8 motor, he made needed repairs to my derailleur. He also helped clarify the proper functions of equipment on the bike by demonstrating its uses.

Fast, excellent service. Dax got my skis mounted and boots fitted in a single afternoon (I’m from out of town and was just passing through Boise on my way home from the airport)
My first purchase from Idaho Mtn Touring! Found the Yakima rack I was looking for there in a Google search at a great price with free shipping. That's all great, but lot's of places offer good prices and free shipping. What most impressed me was the speed with which they filled my order and shipped it out. Not like Amazon where your order sits around 4-5 days before it gets shipped. I got a confirmation almost immediately and then a shipping notification hours later, not just that a label was printed but it was in the shippers hands and on the move.
Will definitely check in with you in person the next time I am headed to McCall for some skiing or the Salmon for some kayaking.

After leaving REI, I stopped at this store to further look into buying new skis, boots, bindings, and poles. Granted, I haven’t skied 18 years, and trust me…the gear has changed! This is a huge purchase, and I wanted to make sure I was going to be happy with it! Nothing worse than boots that don’t fit right, or too long or short of skis.
Ryan, was of extreme help, and he was patient and knowledgeable with explaining about the products. Furthermore, he didn’t pressure me to buy, and he was very understandable and supportive with me getting back out there. He answered so many questions! Lol!
I purchased everything, my boots were molded to my feet, and I walked out feeling confident about my purchase! I returned an hour later to pick up my skis with the bindings on. The service Dept did a great job too…perfect!!!

in this world of on line shopping with people looking for deals on e'bay it is so nice to go into a REAL Bike shop,talk to real people that know what there doing, everything i would ever need is at Idaho Mountain Touring, Danny and all the Employees were vary knowledgeable and polite, why'll living in Boise for eight years it was always my go to shop when i needed anything for my bikes, i was once in Bicycle sales at a shop for seven years and can relate to Quality in selection of Bicycles and accessories, the store is vary well laid out with a good Home style feel and relaxing attitude, believe me after 43 years riding bikes not allot of shops are like that, and the biggest Trek dealership in Boise, and now after 35 years i bought my second Trek bicycle, i'm thankful there are still REAL Bike shops like Idaho Mountain Touring in Boise, thank you, Ty Nugent Caldwell Idaho
