Just purchased a Trek Checkpoint SL 5. At first I just wanted to put my hands on one so I called ahead to see if one would be available. They had both the bike I was looking for and another in a different size waiting for me. Extremely knowledgeable and patient with me - it had been long time since I purchased a bike and needed to be brought gently up to speed on the new technology. All my questions were answered and I was very comfortable making the purchase. I have 3 other Trek bicycles, all purchased in California and I must say the treatment I received at Idaho Mountain Touring beat my California experience hands down. I just moved here from Wisconsin (lived 50 miles from Trek Waterloo) but this experience has made me feel welcome here in Idaho. I look forward to hitting the roads/trails with this Checkpoint and becoming a member of the Idaho riding community.

The products are high quality but at affordable prices. However, it is the service that really separates IMT from others. The staff is friendly & highly knowledgeable about their products. Most importantly, their number one objective is to put you in the gear that is right for you instead of just trying to make the sale.
