The Bob Sierra Y is excellent but I do have some minor areas of concern.

As always, excellent equipment and facilities and maintenance of a high traffic gym. The upgrades are wonderful and appreciated. Thank you for putting up the footwear rules everywhere to counter the crocs and sandals epidemic infecting the exercise areas. Unfortunately many parents and kids can read but not comprehend. You can lead a horse to the water but not make it drink.
The only thing I ask for is a staff member to walk at regular intervals through the cable machine areas, the weight room, and the ninja cage area as these are frequented by non-shoes patrons, and to ask them to follow footwear rules. The yin of a safety program is signage; the yang is enforcement. This is evident especially on days during basketball games where the coaches and parents let their kids roam unsupervised through the weight areas. Weight areas are not a play area for kids, it takes only 1 incident to ruin the environment for all and create a problem for management. Carry a big stick and speak softly. ;-)

The Y has been for decades a place to regain/maintain your health fitness...getting children a start in health and offering a selection of activities that lend it self to a lifetime of benefits...truly a gift for seniors as well.. currently, I'm dealing with a severe back issue and was told by my Dr. that swimming along with PT and acupuncture was would go a long way in preventing me from having extensive back surgery...so, as you can see the Y has become very important to me.

I like the welcoming atmosphere of the Y. I have made so many friends at the Campo since I moved here 19 years ago. I like that a variety of classes are offered for every age group.
