My kids loved it
As of right now I am very happy with the YMCA. We enjoy many services there: swim lessons, the pool, summer camp, fitness classes, the youth zone, etc. I have recommended the YMCA to many families and a few have joined after my recommendation. I have heard a lot of buzz about a strict dress code policy being enforced harshly in the facility that seems outdated and unfair. I am concerned about the implications of this new enforcement and how it may impact things at the Y.

Conveniently located for us, the staff is awesome and we've made several friends since we started going there.
It is a great place to attend classes, play pickleball and swim (except for the summer when it is overrun by kids)
The instructors are the best. Good mix of classes. Willing to listen to what is suggested. First name removed Anne does a phenomenal job of keeping it all together.
The "Y" management has shown irresponsibility in oversight of class instructors by recklessly abandoning the overall welfare of Silver Sneakers participants in terminating a decades long coach.
The coach in question was a personable, conscientious, caring and exceptional instructor for the large senior contingents who faithfully attended weekly classes.
Not only was the instructor dismissed from aerobics but also this caused many seniors to be abandoned who participated in Water Aerobics. Some seniors depended on the water aerobics for physical health reasons and for that reason it was traumatic.

My 6 year old grandson attended the YMCA summer camp in Zephyrhill while staying the summer with me. He was happy being there . He got up in the morning ready to go to camp and even asked if he could stay a little later in the day . The camp provided an opportunity for him to be with other kids . He would talk about his new friends and share information about various things he did at camp. .Staff were very helpful with everything from registration to updates and it was evident that he was in a caring and safe environment. Thanks to all of you!

I worked there for a couple of years and loved the staff and members. Now that I’m just a member the staff continues to be polite and friendly. Susana in member services is the best. She always carries a great smile and helpful when I need her.

Enjoy the classes and instructors. Although , I would like more of the silver sneakers set up in the evening as well. The gym equipment is new with plenty of bikes and treadmills. Beautiful pool!

The staff are considerate. The classes are helpful health wise. The silver sneaker classes with Patty are a plus. The exercises help with my stenosis.
