Friendly staff and hottest sauna!
This is a good league for kids to learn the game as well as sportsmanship and make friends. It’s not overly competitive.

The East Tampa YMCA has a great staff- always friendly. The vollleyball coaches are friendly and we had such a great time for the Fall season.

My boys absolutely love basketball at the Y. The staff at the South Tampa Y (esp. Kayla) are impressively organized from the team tryouts through each season - in addition to being helpful and professional every day. They also give volunteer coaches great tools to communicate with the teams.
I also really appreciate the dedicated parents that come back season after season to coach up the kids. They’ve seen our boys grow up and develop into great players over the years.

The kids really love playing in this league. It’s a lot of fun and they learn a lot. Very reasonable prices make it an easy commitment.
Great atmosphere and staff
Coach parag is so nice and know how to encourage the kids and teach them good skills. The games held weekly give them good opportunity to learn. My kiddo learned alot.
The YMCA is awesome. First name removed Anne, Ed, Brandy and Melinda are so welcoming. Wilda is a great instructor. We love the "little" Y!

The coaches are the best! Super caring and patient with the kiddos. They truly make it a fun experience while also helping them grow their skills, working at their level. Coach Armani is also so great with little kids.
We love the Y! Such a great family environment. Lots of ways to help parents get their time in as well as lots of extra curricular activities that are available for the kids.

Great place for the entire family.
Brandon had a great Coach Eric. He was good at teaching the game from basics to plays. Coach Eric was also fair, during games he made sure that every child had a chance to play regardless their athletic ability.
Great kids programs. Community atmosphere. Excellent group classes.
Great staff
Basketball program is good but I do not like that the coaches allow one of the kids to beat up on the other kids during the games. This one kid constantly grabs and tries to injure other athletes. As much as I like how close this location is to my house, and my son loves playing with fellow students, I think I may be looking for a different location. But I would really prefer that the coaches say something to the parents who care nothing about how their child kicks, punches, pinches, and grabs the other kids.
Great personnel, facilities. Very accommodating, our experience with Coach Kevin has been awesome.

Coaches and kids are all great and show good sportsmanship!
The after school program offers kids a variety of activities and my son enjoys his time there.
The pick up process if efficient and it is helpful that we can text when we are close by to speed up the process of having our kid ready to go.
