We are very pleased that we chose Allied Van Lines and Quality Move Management for our recent move from North Vancouver to Toronto.
Our first contact was with Francis Leal who did our Virtual Survey. Right away he put us at ease with his expertise. He noticed things that we had overlooked and gave us many packing tips that saved us energy and time. His sense of humour and patience helped us to relax. From then on Francis was extremely patient with my many questions, responded quickly at all times either by phone or email and did not make me feel that I was asking too much.
Sangita Nand also helped with the particulars of our move day and the necessary details like city permits, etc. She was also very responsive by phone and email when the circumstances kept changing, she was always available.
Our driver John Boldt managed our difficult move (three different destinations in the Toronto area, and our not being there yet to receive them) extremely professionally. He had an excellent local crew in North Vancouver—they worked well together, were tireless and professional and actually made the day fun. Any problems I had anticipated about how to pack or move particular things were quickly solved by John in a way that made me see his many years of experience.
It was the same when he reached Ontario and delivered to the three locations—he solved any problems around those deliveries in a way that put our minds to rest as we weren’t there. At all three locations the people who received our possessions for us commented that he was very professional and good-natured, making the process smooth and seemingly easy.
Professional, clean, good execution....was a very good experience for us.

We had to move from BC to Alberta due to my husband being transferred for work. With the stress of leaving our life style and Covid, QMM made everything easy and one less thing for us to worry about. Everything with QMM regarding my relocation was a pleasure, but I would particularly like to call out Abbie and Jake. Abbie was my main point of contact with QMM at every step of the process, and it was such a pleasure to work with her. She coordinated very well with me and my family at every step of the process. Jake helped with the actual move of household goods from where my family was moving. Overall, it was such a pleasure to work with QMM for my relocation and I can't recommend QMM enough!!

Burnett and crew did all they could and more to make this move and transition from the US to Canada as seamless as possible. Furniture and belongings arrived on date we were told it would.

Heather got me started with a virtual survey and explaining the move process. At the end, Richard communicated the truck arrival., load, departure , border and customs Plan and timing all through This process. Everything went as scheduled and planned. This went seamless.

Upfront about the quote/cost. When quote was innaccurate to verbal quote it was corrected immediately.
Loading was efficient and crew friendly and careful.
Delivery driver was great at staying in touch about arrival date and time.
Delivery was well within quoted time frame.
Delivery crew were friendly and took the time to help us double check for any missing boxes. All boxes were in good condition. And so far there are no missing (still unpacking). And no items broken at due due to mishandling.
I would have like a better way to measure the weight of our boxes as we packed to get the most out of our service, but over all I would definitely recommend QQM/Allied for a long distance move.

QMM made the move very easy and the time it took to cross the country was better than expected. The team that moved the items into our house were great and did an excellent job. The price quoted was what they stuck to with only a slight charge for an unforeseen issue moving one awkward item.

The moves (quite a few, actually) were quite seamless and easy. The team took great care of my belongings and were careful when challenges came up. Very easy to work with and pleasant dispositions as well!
QMM went over as beyond the call of duty in every aspect of our move! When a competitor moving company dropped the ball and couldn’t deliver our goods for 5+ weeks, QMM picked up our shipment within a week’s notice and had it delivered in less than 10 days- they even delivered it early! The entire team was extremely pleasant and professional, from Heather who handled the paperwork and set up the virtual walk through, to Clayton, our awesome driver, who oversaw every aspect of the packing, loading, shipping, and unloading. Not one item was missing or damaged in the move.
My husband is a U.S. federal officer and we have moved many times with his job. QMM was by far the best moving company we’ve ever dealt with and the best experience we’ve had. Thank you all for being so wonderful!
