Communication. The woman who came out and priced my service was different than the person who came to pick up the key. I also have not heard from the person who priced my service and I think a follow up would have been nice.

Services have always been excellent. Personnel are friendly, professional, and hard-working. I have always felt that I could trust the Merry Maids personnel.

I had to have merry maids come back out twice to do the job and still and was not done to my liking, the price is also quite expensive

There were actually three different proposals submitted. The workers were totally confused when they arrived. Nothing was on the sheet that I discussed with Alice. Not well organized. The cleaning was not satisfactory either.

Although the work is very good the cost is very high comparitably. We will complete our agreent but go to a different vendor upon completion.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Make sure the cleaners carryover the same tasks each service. Check with them to make sure the proper rooms were fully cleaned before leaving the house.

The first cleaning was awesome, but by the second time it was slacking. Ash trays weren't empty, floor was half way vacuumed and trash wasn't emptied.

What do you like about our services and the products used in your home?

The service is in general very good. The team arrives on time and finish quickly without sacrificing quality of work.
I like attention to details like making the beds and arranging towels in the bathrooms.
The products used seam to be of good quality and used sparingly, so no chemical smell remains when we get home later in the day.
I recommend Merry Maids to everyone who needs help with cleaning their house.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I was asked to check over and make sure everything looked good. I did a quick check (which I was very uncomfortable doing) and on the surface everything seemed fine. The next day I notice dust still on the walls and ceilings. The toilet upstairs wasn't completely clean. The appointment time was mixed up. I scheduled a 9 -12 appt and the cleaners didn't come until 1:30 and didn't realize that I was a morning appointment. I had to sit outside with my children (who were home from school at 3:00) until everything was done. I don't usually have people clean my house, but was having a party. I spent a lot of money for Merry Maids to come out because everyone said that you would do a great job. I am very disappointed with how the house came out. I feel that I overpaid since I have very little furniture, no carpets, no "nick nacks" and was charged extra for my animals. I will never use Merry Maids again. All the women that came to my party knew I was having my house cleaned by Merry Maids. They will not be using you either. The only way you could make it up to me is by credited me for half of what I paid.

The first two weeks were great. Last week we scheduled for 9:30AM and they arrived at 12:30. They were upset that the bathrooms were occupied. (they were not at 9:30) and we had a mix up on the number of rooms to be cleaned. They did ask us to check thier work and we did not because the first two weeks were so good. If I had checked, I would have noticed one of the rooms was not cleaned. Lesson learned. In consistency is my issue.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I'm not sure disappoint is the correct word. I've been with this service for nearly a year now, and still can't get a correct time as to when Merry Maids is going to show up. A few weeks ago, I requested 2 cleaners to come to my house early as I had an event to attend. I was assured Merry Maids would arrive at 8:30AM, but they didn't show up until 9:14AM, that's unacceptable. You definitely have to resolve the time issue and advise your customers the night before when to expect your staff. I should not have to call every other week.

The crew I had did a great job cleaning my new house to get it ready for us to move in. They were personable and got their work done. I would recommend them to friends and if I ever selected to use a service on a regular basis I would want the same crew.

As I've said many times -- Merry Maids is very expensive and many of my friends wouldn't be able to afford it. Also, the service is inconsistent; sometimes good and sometimes not.

House was very poorly cleaned at an outrageous price. The supervisor was accomodating and did bring a second crew the next day to do over a grat deal of the work. I would not use the service again.

my kitchen was not even cleaned - counters were not wiped down and trash still on floor and counter...... job was definitely not completed. I paid $170 and feel like I might have gotten a $50 cleaning. Even bags of trash left on floor in front of kitchen sink.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I keep a pretty clean house on my own so when I hire professionals I am looking for attention to details I don't have time to get to. The first crew did a pretty good job but forgot to clean the ceiling of the microwave, a shelf of little knickknacks wasn't dusted and there were fingerprints on the wood of the TV stand. The second time crew was not thorough at all. The house did not smell clean even though I asked for bleach or ammonia in the bathrooms. There were food stains on the kitchen cabinets. The blanket over the master bed had not been vacuumed and had cat hair on it. There was dust behind the TV on its stand. My husband said they were done in less than an hour. I can see why.
