I had been hearing the name "Pat McGinnis" from SpeedPro for years, but had not had the occasion to work with him on a project until recently. NOW I KNOW what all the hype was about!
From start to finish, Pat was a pleasure to work with and I now have complete faith that he can fabricate anything we may need, quickly, and will offer clever ideas of how to enhance and present props (as well as other materials) for viewing. He has the equipment and expertise necessary to take his work above and beyond other sign shops.
In this recent scenario, I created a 7+ ft graphic "Hercules" the English Mastiff (BEAST) from the movie SANDLOT. The turn-around time was excellent. The quality of material was sturdy and superb for our needs. The integrated stand (which Pat added to the prop) was his own design. It allows the stand to fold up into the prop, keeping it all together and safe during transportation. This design also allowed us some versatility in displaying the prop. It could be self-sustaining when unfolded, or flat-backed for hanging, or leaning against a wall.
We raffled-off the huge Hercules prop at the event and it brought in a lot of extra money. I am certain that Pat's part in this project added to it's allure. The recipients were so excited. I wish I could share a photo of them, here, with their prize.
