The most important element of tutoring success for our family: internal buy-in from our kid. I was expecting a struggle on that front, but our kid is shockingly enthusiastic about tutoring. They've made a friend in their learning group -- and the staff at Sylvan really do a great job making sure my kid feels welcome and valued. It's been a really great experience.
Ian is really moving forward with his homework at Sylvan. It's nice to have different tutors that have different strengths so he can work on different subjects.
My son is excited about going to Sylvan. He thinks he is going for fun but in reality learning! His teacher and I have seen great improvements in such a short time. We were considering holding him back into early 5s vs first grade but after seeing such improvement he is ready for first grade
So far, everything has been good and, most importantly, my daughter enjoys going. The token system seems to work well. Ms. Mitchel has been very organized and the experience has been smooth. Time will tell if the tutoring helps my daughter with her math but so far so good!

We have been with Sylvan for two of our children for just over a month now and have already seen incredible progress. All the teachers are really nice and approachable plus the "store" keeps our kids excited and motivated. The classroom has a positive vibe and the online dashboard makes it easy for parents to see how the kids are progressing.

My great grandson had no schooling from the time Covid hit until this past fall , 2021 . He was in first grade when the schools closed and of course was unable to read or anything past early first grade level . We started him in Sylvan in January and he is reading quite well . He has a long way to go with catching up and with math also but we are very pleased with his progress . Millie Lutz

I feel like the director really listened to my students needs. She not only looked at the assessment, but she listened to my input as a parent. Changes have been made along the way without it feeling like a big deal. Sylvan has been a great place for my child to not only gain academic skills, but to also make positive education connections! I love the monthly meetings to celebrate progress. It is so nice to be able to share that information with my child as well.
They are kind and flexible with our schedule. We still wish to make more progress with the subject English with our son but it's coming along.
They have been very helpful and accommodating. Avery is making progress and doesn't mind working the program....bonus!!
