The open, honest, and thought worthiness of the staff is great. They initiated a meeting to go over current progress and changes in scores and we felt that was very genuine. Our child is not just a number with Sylvan.

We have been using Sylvan as needed for roughly 10 years for our children. We take advantage of holiday sales and the staff there is great. They remember my kids and have helped them better understand concepts, specifically in math!

The kind, patient instructors here have consistently encouraged my child while maintaining high expectations. I have appreciated the regular parent/director conferences so I can support specific needs at home. It's also nice to see how the content objectives line up with grade level expectations, but my child works on her identified needs at Sylvan, regardless of what her class may be working on at school. I think this has been helpful in making sure she doesn't later struggle with concepts at school because she had to move on in past years without fully mastering the material at that earlier level.
While we have been a Sylvan family for years now, I would expect that a shorter-term relationship for test prep or just working through a challenging semester would also prove valuable for many families.
