Sylvan has been enjoyable for my third grader! He continues to ask for more sessions and he's absolutely energized when he comes out of a 2 hour session. I didn't realize learning for him could be so much fun! We definitely recommend our Sylvan Learning Center.

Still in the beginning stages… only been tutoring for less than 8 weeks

Experience has been positive. The only issue is sometimes the noise in the room when there are more kids (younger) together. Sometimes difficult to concentrate.

My son did a stem camp over spring break and he had so much fun, so overall I was very happy with the camp. The only suggestion is that it'd be nice to have more information beforehand - I wasn't told to bring a snack until I called and asked if I should. When asked about the curriculum, I was told that they'd do several things but couldn't be told details (I wasn't expecting a lot, but "robotics followed by snack, then arts and craft project and story" or something would've been a ton of info). Honestly, it seemed a bit disorganized or maybe like it was a new class so details weren't finalized, but I was referred by a friend and she raved about it so I trusted the process and I'm happy that I did. I think for a random person inquiring, it might scare them off... which would be such a shame because my son really enjoyed the camp.

We needed someone to help with algebra homework for our son and Sylvan is doing a great job!

My son desperately needed qualified teachers in a small group setting to teach him the material (in this case, reading comprehension) at his developmental level. The public school no longer taught this subject matter because of his grade level. Sylvan has far exceeded my expectations. I wish I had contacted them sooner, versus hiring private tutors as I had done in the past. Sylvan’s approach assesses your child’s current skills and then meets your child where they are at developmentally by tutoring to their specific needs. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s child is struggling academically.

My son has only been attending Sylvan for about 6 weeks, but I’ve already noticed an improvement in his reading and his confidence. Thank you to all of the staff and leaders at Sylvan for helping my second grader find his reading voice. :)

She is exceptionally patient and always takes the time to explain concepts to him in a way that is easy for him to understand. We have had a great experience with Sylvan. The program and the staff have been amazing.

My son requested tutoring in Chemistry. Since starting at Sylvan, he's received help in other subjects as well. But yesterday, he got an A on a Chemistry test! This class has been such a struggle for him. I can't even express how important that A is to him, to my husband and me.

Mindi and her team have brought my 13yr old's math grade up from a D to an A in just 4 weeks!
