We have had a great experience with Sylvan. The program and the staff have been amazing.
My son requested tutoring in Chemistry. Since starting at Sylvan, he's received help in other subjects as well. But yesterday, he got an A on a Chemistry test! This class has been such a struggle for him. I can't even express how important that A is to him, to my husband and me.
Mindi and her team have brought my 13yr old's math grade up from a D to an A in just 4 weeks!

The coordinators and the teachers really care. Been going for about 2 years now and my daughter has a good relationship with teachers and coordinators. They also get in contact with the teachers at my daughter's school and find ways to benefit her in every way.
So far, we have great experience with Sylvan. Heather helps us reschedule the classes that my child cannot attend, answers my questions promptly. Cathi also explained me very well about my child’s progress during the meeting. The reason of nine stars is that we recently started Sylvan and have not seen the result yet. However, I feel that I can expect a good result by next year, and even think about adding another subject with Sylvan.

My daughter was in the middle of her 2nd grd year,when Covid shut everything down. For the last two years, she has been in title 1 math at her school to help her progress to where she needs to be. Along with us working extra at home,but she was still struggling quite a bit. Just as we thought,when she did her initial assessment this past spring, it showed she was 2.5 years behind in her math skills. My daughter began coming to the Grand Blanc center mid June twice a week for an hour each time, once school let out for the summer. Just in the 5 or so weeks, she has been attending Sylvan her confidence with math has skyrocketed and she is progressing beautifully through her skill sets. The most amazing thing is, she said she loves math now and likes how her teachers at Sylvan have helped her understand it better. We are excited to see how much more she flourishes in her math skills(and confidence)this school year, with the help of all of the amazing teachers at Sylvan Grand Blanc.
Our experience has been outstanding since we began in July. I had no idea what to expect and every step of the way I have felt valued, accomodated, and my son is enjoying the learning and has an enourmous smile every time he leaves Sylvan.

We sought help from Sylvan of Grandville in helping prepare our Niece for her freshman year of high school. She moved in with us from out of state. Due to difficulties with home life, and a school district that failed throughout COVID pandemic and after, she was multiple grade levels behind in mathematics. We opted for a program that consisted of 4 days a week, 2 hours a day, in four weeks time she was testing a full 2 grade levels higher than the initial assessment. Further, she has started to show confidence in her ability to be successful academically.
