The staff works so hard to be friendly, empathetic, reassuring, and informative. Careening through my 50's, very overweight, having given up on any exercise routine at all, I was tired of my aches and pains and of feeling so weak. I was terrified of aging into an even worse condition. I knew I needed to start doing something. But making my first Exercise Coach appointment was scary; I rescheduled twice. Would I fit on the equipment? Would it be too hard for me? Would it aggravate my bad back, painful knees, dodgy ankles, etc.?
From the first meeting, I was reassured and relieved and now I've been a client for two years. I have told a lot of friends:1) it doesn't matter how fat, or frail, or out of shape you are. They will find a routine that challenges you just enough and accommodates your specific limitations. No baseline level of fitness or knowledge is required. And you will fit on the equipment, it's appropriate for truly nearly everyone. No one will say a negative thing about how you look or what you can or can't do, and no one pushes a specific diet, nutritional point of view, or supplements at you. 2) Conversely, if you're in great shape, the workouts can be adjusted to be challenging even for you. 3) It's very clean and very safe. It's quiet and calm and air-conditioned. The coaches pay close attention to your form and the equipment is designed so you really can't injure yourself. 4) Honestly, I still don't love to exercise, but 20 minutes is endurable, I show up because a friendly coach is waiting for me, and I always feel good when I'm done. I do get meaningful results doing that 2-3 times a week. 5) It feels so good to have some muscle tone again! I can haul groceries and luggage,climb stairs pain-free, keep up with friends and family when we go places; my life is much better. 6) If you are taking a GLP, this is an excellent way to guard against that loss of muscle mass you've been warned about.
