Sylvan is caring, patient, professional, and highly effective in its programs. My granddaughter needed motivation to succeed in school, and after her first meeting with Sylvan, she was so inspired to learn that she asked if she could return. When I asked if she wanted to continue attending the services offered, she eagerly said yes. No one else has ever motivated her to want to learn and grow like this.
The staff is incredible and so welcoming! My daughter loves going to Sylvan - and that’s saying a lot! We are very pleased with her progress so far and her boost in confidence!

I have been extremely impressed with Sylvan of Ames beginning with my first interaction. Looking to help improve our middle-school daughter's study skills, I was pleased with the offerings Sylvan had, but even more so the intentionality put into selecting the courses and putting them in order that would best align with her specific needs. My daughter was NOT excited to have us enroll her in the programming, but her attitude was changed even taking the assessment BEFORE the actual course work started. She loves earning tokens and getting rewards, but she also talks about her teachers a lot and really likes them. She made significant process in just the first two weeks. I love the attention to detail and commitment to customizing the learning to each student's needs, and the staff is fantastic. I couldn't be happier!

Amazing Learning Center for all ages! They catered to what my child needed to catch up with his grade level at his pace. My child also really enjoyed the facility and loved the staff! Thank you for all your help, can't wait to come back throughout the year!
Though my two months experience attending, we have seen growth in our child. The staff is doing a great job and we applaud the understand and patience they show our child. The reading sessions are highly recommended and I believe with the help our child will be in the position where he needs to be in on time.
We had a wonderful experience at Sylvan Learning. The staff was professional, and the progress report were very informative. My children always shared what they learn after each class. We’ve seen improvement in their reading skills. Thank you for helping them build confidence and become stronger readers.

My child improved in reading comprehension. He tested out of the ELD program at his school. He likes going to tutoring. He is always happy when going to tutoring and leaves happy. He likes the tokens and the short game they do at the end of the tutoring session. Noelle, Justine, Sabrina, tutors, teachers and staff are doing a great job.
The Garner location has been exceptional to work with. We’ve referred other families to the center to SAT/ACT tutoring.

Miss Denise was a godsend. She got us enrolled made it quick and easy she said of a program that was working well with my grandson. We love the facility and recommend it to everyone.
The team have really helped our daughter feel more comfortable in subjects that she wasn’t as confident in. Michelle has infectious energy when it comes to learning and does a great job of keeping parents in the loop.

Since my son has been goong to Sylvan, I have seen great improvements in his grades. He went from behind to now excelling in school.
They helped tremendously with my granddaughter’s math needs, and were flexible with her schedule. The staff there is wonderful.
We chose Sylvan to help my child get a better grasp of mathematic concepts from 6th grade and to help her transition into more challenging pre-algebra concepts as she prepares for 7th grade. Sylvan has proven to be one of the best decisions we have made thus far for her education! The curriculum is topnotch! The staff is attentive and kind! The director, Regina, is extremely helpful in guiding us through understanding and monitoring our child’s progress!
