Our family absolutely loved Sylvan! Our daughter enjoyed their curriculum and we saw exponential growth in her reading and writing skills. With the help of Sylvan it made the decision to homeschool our daughter even easier to make. We thank Sylvan so much for all of the hard work they poured into our baby girl and we are watching her flourish before our eyes. Other family members and close friends even notice the difference in her speech and how she now problem solves various situations. Sylvan definitely deserves a 10/10. Any time we had questions or concerns they addressed them immediately. We participated in their Program from Janaury through July of 2026 and it was much needed weekly one on one time with those teachers. We cannot thank Sylvan enough for all of their help!

We recently started at Sylvan Learning Center, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience so far. My son is autistic and can sometimes struggle with anger and frustration, so working with him requires a lot of patience, understanding, and compassion. The staff at Sylvan have been incredibly sweet, patient, and supportive with him.

Even though he hasn’t been there very long, I can already see a difference in the way he interacts with others, and I’m also noticing improvement in his reading abilities. As a parent, seeing those little changes means so much to me.

We’re still early in our journey, but I truly appreciate the way the staff have welcomed my son, met him where he is, and continue to encourage him. I’m excited to see how much more he will grow with their support.

It’s been a great experience. My daughter has learned so much. And the staff is wonderful. Mrs. Elise is a sweet, dedicated director who cares a lot about the kids, their confidence and success.

My granddaughter Siri did a summer reading program and made good progress. She loved her teachers, Ms.Jenny in Winston-Salem, and Mrs. Rosalyn in Greensboro. The staff was friendly and professional, and easy to work with.

the process used to teach works i have been sending my grandson for three years he has gone from a D student to A-B student.

Sylvan’s tutors and reading plans have really helped my son catch up on his reading skills. He was behind due to Covid and a learning disability. They are patient and able identify the child’s needs and customize a plan just for them. He has advanced 3 grade levels over the past year to get caught up with his class! Now he is working on writing skills.

It has been a blessing to have access to Daryl and his staff at this center to help my children through school, especially now, with hard subjects like high school math and science, far beyond anything I could teach them myself. Daryl is extremely smart and a great teacher, making difficult subjects approachable for kids. Becky has also been wonderful and easy to deal with, especially in coordinating their sessions. I appreciate having this service and have used it for multiple years. I highly recommend it for anyone with kids needing help with school or looking for enrichment.
