My child experience with Sylvan has been a positive one. She struggled with keeping up and grasping the subject material. With Sylvan’s help she able to get back on track and keep up with the class. We plan to continue on with her academic relationship with Sylvan her upcoming Senior year.
Finding the right learning center for your kids is a big decision, and we couldn't be happier that we chose Sylvan Learning Center of Santa Clarita. We were actually the very first family to sign up, and it's been a blessing from day one.
We enrolled our two children, ages 9 & 10, in the reading and writing program, and the difference in their attitude toward learning has been beautiful to watch. They actually look forward to going! A big part of that is the reward station, where they earn points toward toys. It turns hard work into something exciting, and our kids love it.
What sets this center apart is the owners, Russell and his wife Yesenia. They're truly passionate about teaching kids, and it shows in everything they do. They're patient, warm, and genuinely invested in each child's growth. Beyond that, they've worked with us on both the finances and the schedule to make everything work for our family. You don't find that kind of care everywhere.
If you're a Santa Clarita family looking for a place where your kids will be encouraged, celebrated, and truly taught, this is it. We're so grateful for Russell and Yesenia, and we highly recommend Sylvan of Santa Clarita!

Sylvan was instrumental in building confidence in my two kids academically. We used it in younger years to help build a foundation and right through high school for more individualized tutoring. The tutors were very good and Sylvan was great about being flexible to find the right personal fit for my kids as well as adjusting schedules where necessary.

The process to get started was very smooth.

The team at Sylvan Learning Corona are incredible. They were so communicative, and their support of my daughter's growth was exceptional. I am truly grateful and am happy to recommend them to others!
They have all type of teachers that teach kids so they can learn and have fun love that they have in person are virtual classes. School take in after 3pm so for working parents is really important & accommodate schedule. They take scholarship if kids are on that but very affordable. Summer classes they have summer programs too. They also do leap test for home school kids and more

We had such a wonderful experience with Sylvan this summer! My son attended for extra help with math, reading comprehension, and reading fluency, and I’m so glad we decided to enroll him.
The best part was how much he genuinely loved going. He always felt comfortable, encouraged, and supported, and never looked at Sylvan as something he “had” to do. As a parent, that means so much, especially when you’re asking your child to spend part of their summer working on academics!
We could see his confidence growing along with his skills, and I really appreciated the individualized attention and encouragement he received. The staff made learning positive and enjoyable for him, and that made all the difference.

They were so patient helping my grandson catch up on his math and reading.
My son is legally blind in one eye, he has never enjoyed reading. He was in third grade during the pandemic. He had a lot of trouble, by the end of 4th grade, he had an IEP and was in the special education program. He hated school and was starting to have behavioral issues. I felt like the program was not helping him catch up with his peers. In fact it was quit the opposite, we were losing ground quickly. We joined Syvan the end of 5th grade. His last full year in the pecial Education program at school was 6th grade. His last full year with Sylvan was 7th grade. He will be entering eight grade strong. His tutor not only helped him catch up to his grade level: more importantly she helped him regain confidence in himself.
Wonderful leadership and teaching team. My daughter started with little confidence and behind in subjects. Anthony did a detailed evaluation and created a plan of action to bring her to where she needed to be and surpassed that goal. She is now confident and eager to learn. We are so appreciative and grateful for the support from the Sylvan team!
My son has benefited greatly from his tutoring at Sylvan. I would recommend them to all.

Sylvan has been incredible. Sylvan had created the most valuable foundation for my son’s education. Because of sylvan he loves learning. My son loves learning because of sylvan it’s afforded him the opportunities to excel and have fun while doing so. Brianna,Zack,Mrs Jen haven been very imperative to Kolton’s development there. And of course the presents lady Harleen! We love sylvan and we’ve already referred friends.
