We are pleased with our granddaughter's progress so far. It's only been six weeks and she has said that she can see improvement already. Her experience with learning has not been a positive one, to say the least.
There's so much more to her story that cannot be included in this short summary. But, what we can say with certainty, Sylvan has been a positive experience for our granddaughter. The staff are aware of her challenges and approach the situation with the utmost compassion. The fact that she is willing to attend these classes is a testiment to Sylvan's approach to her special situation; they are always kind, patient and encourging.
We would recommend Sylvan Learning to anyone who is looking for quality tutoring services for their child. In fact, we have recently referred a family to the Saint John branch.

As my youngest son attended Sylvan Learning in Los Angeles, California many years ago because he was dyslexic and was able to attend college plus get a masters degree, I know first hand that Sylvan is great resource for dealing with any learning issues children have.

My son has been going 2 hours a week for the last month for help for his reading. We are already seeing a noticeable difference in his confidence as well as his reading. I am excited to see what they can do for him in the upcoming months. We've been struggling to find something that works for him and so far Sylvan has been a godsend.

Everyone is Amazing! I've seen a really big difference in my daughter's reading abilities, especially in her confidence to want to read. Sylvan has so far been greatly beneficial and impactful to the needs and standards of achievement required for my daughter's reading level. I was really worried about her being able to read at the required level for her grade, but I'm extremely confident she will be fine going into school this upcoming year.
