Kids love it, so we love it too. The ambient is very inviting for kids to learn and there are incentives to learn. We like the tutors and the fact that they are experienced and former or current teachers. The scheduling is easy and you can find time for almost any slot, even on a short notice. We just gope that this investment shows in kids progress.
Is it expensive? Yes. Does it work though? Absolutely! The change you’ll see in your child even in 8 hours of tutoring is amazing! We’ve bitten the bullet twice and paid for our oldest two children to go receive reading help. The confidence boost in my very shy and unsure son has been literally life changing. It’s not just about learning to read, it’s holding his head up high and answering questions in class and making friends finally. Dino is kind and understanding and truly supports parents. Between Dino, the tutors, and the Sylvan way of teaching, you can’t beat the results you will see!
My daughter absolutely loves going to class every week! Trina is her favorite, and she seems to be adapting and learning very well.
After 10 sessions I can see a major positive change in my child's confidence, comprehension, spelling and reading.

We just started at Sylvan a few weeks ago. It's too soon to see results yet. But after every session, my 7 year old says he had fun and he likes his teachers. I've had other family members go to Sylvan and reap great results. I know it's just a matter of time for us as well.
My daughter joined for ACT. So far my daughter is very happy with teaching methodologies' and teachers .
Sylvan is not just for kids who are struggling with the material/subjects. My son has learned many new skills for studying (any subject). In addition he gets a sense of community within the Sylvan team and other students who attend at the same time.
I'm more than capable of helping my son study or with homework, but he like the different perspective. Additionally, I think it sinks in more if it is not "mom" imparting the information. So I encourage folks who are thinking "I can do this myself at home" to consider Sylvan a great option. Yes, I CAN do this at home, but the team at Sylvan is not just support for my son, they are support for me as a parent in making sure I'm getting him the best help from both Sylvan and myself.
Staff very professional and Sean the tutor is a genius. The staff very intelligent as well. The rewards of coins are great and the art activities for month of April fabulous!!! My family appreciates Sylivan Learning Center.

Me and my son love it here
My daughter was behind on her reading skills. She went from a level E to level H in less than to months with Sylvan. Her reading capabilities has gotten so much better. I recommend Sylvan every time and my daughter loves to go to her sessions as well. The teachers are nice and the staff leaders are amazing as well ( Laquita Holly).
They have been great. My granddaughter loves it and has improved so much. It was the best thing we did for her.

My son has an excellent understanding of writing mechanics and is feeling more comfortable with writing all the time. I know he still hates the subject of LA/Social Studies but can power through assignments instead of never doing them. John is excellent, and extremely helpful when it comes to rescheduling, changing invoices so my insurance isn't awful, and more. I would recommend Sylvan to anyone, especially this location!
Our 6-year-old son had been having difficulty with reading for a while. Sylvan was recommended by his teacher. After reaching out to inquire, I was contacted within an hour to schedule his assessment, which was scheduled for the following week. The assessment was spot on. He started at Sylvan soon thereafter and has already displayed improvements in reading. He’s also gaining confidence in his reading which is great to see. His teachers at Sylvan are professional, warm, and supportive. They make reading fun! I highly recommend Sylvan and only wish we had started sooner.
