The ACT prep class has really helped my daughter!

The staff have been pleasant since day one. My son enjoys going to Sylvan. The communication is great and I have seen my son make progress these past few months.

My son has been coming here for a few months now and the tutors my son have, have been helping him tremendously. And everyone is so nice there.

My son has been at Sylvan for close to two years. From East Brunswick to Edison. He was way behind his grade level and needed more support to get to his grade level. Even though he is still not at grade level, he has really improved and proved that he has the potential and just needs someone to push and encourage him. Sylvan works with you as the parent to create a plan to follow depending on the needs of the child.

Customer service and tutoring from the teachers (Amanda) is amazing. I truly wish my grandson could go more than one day a week. However due to his living situation this is the only time available for us. He hasn’t improved as fast as we would have liked him to, nevertheless he is improving. The director Angela is professional and courteous and always willing to listen and assist in any way she can with our questions and concerns about my grandson.

Angela and her team have been great with Carter. He is truly blossoming and coming out of his shell. He is doing so well, we have added new programs to help in additional areas as well.

As foster parents of older kids, we find trauma often has a detrimental impact on a child's education. Over the years, we've had 4 different kids attend Sylvan consistently. The progress they've made goes beyond grades. Some have learned to read, others have caught up on math skills they were lacking, but the best part is their new attitudes toward school and recognizing the importance of education. When they have some success at Sylvan, they can walk into a class room with their head held a little higher.

The staff is very professional. My daughter loves coming every week to get the help that she needs.

Our experience at Sylvan has been really great. Russell is truly dedicated to students' success and is always ready to accommodate families as much as he's able to. He's very supportive and understanding of children's struggles as well as family struggles. Our child has received help in Gr 11 math and Gr 11 english, and it's made a big difference for her. I wished we had discovered Sylvan earlier!

Ethan & Gen, along with their team at Sylvan, made the tutoring process more appealing to our kids with fun ideas & consistency in lessons. We’ve seen their confidence shift in a good way and new concepts being understood more clearly.

Our son has been attending Sylvan for a couple years. Mostly for SAT prep, but also Calculus and Physics. Sam has been so happy with his time at Sylvan. Especially with his tutor Zach. Last week Sam came home and told us that Zach was not 100% certain on the work Sam was having trouble with in calculus, but the next day when Sam return for a second session, Zach spent time outside of work to learn and study how to best tutor Sam. This was above and beyond and we are so thankful for Zach!
