No soap is used; deep cleans without soaking the backing on the carpet; smell and stains gone; dries evenly and completely in 6 to 8 hours (I let it dry 24 hours but it wasn't necessary it was dry in about 10 hrs - My animal waste problem was particularly bad in one spot). Finally, I especially liked the medical grade sanitizing treatment for dog waste and blood. They also have a protectant that causes liquids spills to bead up on the surface of the carpet and not sink in.
The most striking outcome of the Zerorez cleaning is the soft nap. Without soap residue the carpet feels soft and fuller, smells fresh and clean. The outcome is not like a new carpet with manufacturing residue and smells but more like outdoor fresh clean carpet. The biological treatment did nor affect the softness at all and left a faint citrus aroma. I had dogs in my home and now in my apartment, I chose Zerorez for the unique process and the thorough job it does for animal lovers' worst nightmare: Animal Waste on Carpets,

I like that no soaps/detergents are used. I like the results in terms of rejuvenating carpets. The workers are friendly and efficient.

I've gotten carpets/couches/mattress cleaning done from other companies before, but Kevin was the best technician I have ever come across. I wasn't satisfied with the work from a previous company, and Kevin blew me out of the water with his detail. He was so thorough, kind, respectful, hospitable, and professional. He had the best of the best in equipment. The result was pristine, and he had me double check his work, with no hesitation about any small imperfections I could find, and in fact, encouraged it. At the start while filling out payment, I said "Hey if I sneak you a $20 tip will you do an extra good job?" He said "No no, don't tip me. I treat every job as if it's my own home." He even complimented my dogs and my 4 year old's cool hair, which is small, but just shows what a personable professional he is. 10/10 recommend for any future work I need, or for any of my family or friends. This experience more than exceeded my expectations!
