Your process makes sense and I have seen the results. Soaping up the carpets leaves a residue that then attracts dirt. At the completion of the Zerorez cleaning, the carpets are back to a square one and there is no residue to attract dirt. Now that the carpets have been cleaned a few times, the soap from the previous cleanings has been worked out of the fibers.

I liked the idea that no harsh chemicals are used when cleaning the carpets. Also, the carpet was relatively dry when the cleaning was completed. Only a couple of hours and the carpet was dry.

Our son is moving into a condo for a few months. The carpets were in terrible shape. We did not think that some of the stains would come out, but at least the carpets would be clean.
