I like the whole general environment of the school as well as the teachers for my child. The teachers seem to really care about mitral oils as well as keeping up-to-date on their progress.
That there is little turn over. We stay because we are happy with the facility and very happy with the lead teachers. There can be turnover in any position, but consistency is very important for these kids. I hope this facility does everything possible to take care of the teachers and assistants and staff.
The overall center and classroom settings. Mandy, Shawn and Garnia are super cooperative. They are available all the time and we can discuss anything. The teachers are helpful and love the kids.
The facility is very smoothly run. The children have consistently engaging activities that enable learning but also excitement. The pricing is reasonable and the center is extremely supportive of our son’s allergy. We are lucky to have found Lightbridge!
administration lacks professionalism, accountability and basic respect. I have been threatened with my child in my arms by Lauren Brownmiller to not have my daughter continue when I followed up on follow through in writing regarding previously addressed care issues that needed additional follow up. My emails regarding concerns are often ignored completely. Lindsay was so rude to me the last time i went into the office when I asked for a response to my email and the new administrative staff asked if she could help me and Lindsay told her not to. Lindsay gave me a threatening statement about how I would receive a call from one of the administrators who also received the same email they all ignored. I never got any calls or reapinses whatsoever. The new administrative staff person was very friendly towards me until this day and so it seems Lindsay continued to instruct her regarding how to treat me, now she is rude as well and followed me in the classroom at pickup monitoring me as I spoke to my child’s teacher about the potty training as there has been push back to follow the 30 minute schedule implemented and never once followed, my child is still progressin but this would obviously help and the frequency was suggested initially by Lauren Brownmiller but when I confront her she tells me the next classroom my child goes into is actually the potty training room and they will do 2 hour potty trips and that’s it. She is always trying to push me out and show me she doesn’t want to deal with me. when i’ve advocated for my child and shown an example of the teacher retaliating she said she feels that I am retaliating by advocating for my child…I am a single parent and had to provide the restraining order for my child’s father as it shows the custody order and I have been discriminated against from the moment this was known. There is no professionalism, when I have mentioned my concerns such as feeling retaliation with an incident for the teacher where she was observed on camera wiping my daughters face that was covered in a very irritated rash from days of her running nose not being properly cleaned… this day there was a whole plan established lauren nolan supposedly spoke to Ms. Janae and instead of using sensitive skin baby wipes or anything in the plan she was observed using a rough paper towel where the skin breakdown was present and i was told she was used to doing this so often it was muscle memory that’s how it accidentally occurred …. there were no apologies only excuses. This felt like very apparent retaliation and in this instance and others I don’t know what to do. Honestly my child is thriving in many ways at this school, I am so happy with so much but the administration doesn’t enforce the teachers to follow what they put in place they just give excuses and use obvious techniques to manage me which makes me so uncomfortable. How can I get professional treatment where the people running the school would never say bye just to my child in arms while ignoring me completely? I am waiting to hear back from corporate, i don’t know if an official complaint needs to be filed? I just want professionalism and to be able to get responses like any parent! Descrimination is not acceptable, I deserve the same respect as any mother or father of a child at this school.
Ms marissa ms danielle every teacher
It shows that the teachers and staff truly care about each child.
Have some concerns about children with food allergies as they are not watched very well and kids end up taking food from others plates.
Amazing teachers and administrators! We love Lightbridge Academy of plano
Very nice and easy way to make the kids feel better when they’re older
The center is clean, teachers are personable, directors are great to work with and the curriculum is engaging for my kiddo.
Great teachers and staff. They really love our daughter and are invested in her wellbeing. She loves going to day care and playing with her friends. They have awesome playgrounds too!
We’ve noticed a significant amount of new staff recently, and many of the teachers caring for our children seem to be new. While we understand that staffing changes are sometimes unavoidable, the frequent changes have been difficult for both children and parents.
Consistency is especially important for young children, as it helps them build trust, feel secure, and develop strong connections with their caregivers. When teachers change frequently, it can be confusing and unsettling for the children. It can also be challenging for parents when we arrive for drop-off or pick-up and are unfamiliar with the staff members caring for our children. We don’t even know their names- which is important if they are with our kids all day carrying for them…
Whenever possible, it would be wonderful if children could have a consistent group of 1–2 primary teachers so they can build meaningful relationships and feel comfortable with familiar faces each day.
We would also appreciate better communication regarding staffing changes. Even a brief notification letting families know that a regular teacher is out and who will be filling in for the day would provide reassurance and help parents feel more informed.
We understand that staffing needs can fluctuate, but the amount of recent change has been frustrating. We hope efforts can be made to provide greater consistency for the children and more proactive communication with families when changes occur.
Staff are caring, kind, safe. Atmosphere and environment is intentional. Love that curriculum is done already so staff don’t have to spend time away from the kids to plan, which allows for the primary staff to stay with their class. Appreciate the amount of communication as well as willingness to problem solve.
Pretty much everything!
Well-structured and supportive educational environment that promotes both academic achievement and personal growth.
Thank you for everything that you do for our kids.
My son has been attending Lightbridge Academy since he was three months old, and he is now four years old and enrolled in their Pre-K program. Over the years, we have had an excellent experience with the school.
Lightbridge Academy truly prioritizes both the safety and education of the children in their care. The staff is consistently welcoming, professional, and supportive, while the teachers go above and beyond to support both the children and their parents.
It has given me great peace of mind knowing my son is in such a caring and nurturing environment every day. I often wish the school extended through 12th grade because of the trust and confidence I have in their program and staff
Having come from a another day care and joining Lightbridge shortly after turning 2yrs old, I have to say the program is exceptional. The structured classrooms, nurturing teachers, peace of mind of having cameras is a parents dream. Thank you!
The responsiveness of the teachers and staff, willingness to work with us and our son’s schedule and helping us build that schedule with their own expertise.
We have sent both of our boys to this Lightbridge from infancy through Pre-K, and our experience has been wonderful. The environment is always safe, clean, and welcoming. The staff is very friendly, caring, and supportive, and the teachers are extremely well trained and attentive to the children’s development.
We have been with them for the last 7 years, and we are very satisfied with both the academic program and the curriculum they provide. Our children have learned so much and have always enjoyed going there. We truly appreciate the care, dedication, and positive environment the entire team provides for the children and families.
Love this Lightbridge! Staff is amazing. My daughter loves the staff and administration. They are always on top of everything and keep parents informed!
Great staff and programs. The entire staff is inviting and supportive to the kids overall growth and aptitude building
the teachers and directors are so caring and provide both my children with the tools they need to learn and grow and i have 100% confidence that they are providing the absolute best care. I also love how Sam and Amanda are on top of communication with the parents and coordinate extra things like my son's speech therapist and helping create the best plan possible for him to succeed. The teachers are also amazing an have tought my children's so much my son now counts in spanish and knows how to clean up and set any organized. They also practice with my younger son walking, clapping, talking which has had such a huge impact on our lives because they are working on these critical things while we are at work and reinforcing what we are trying to teach them. I have recommended this program to others who have also had such a great experience and will continue to recommend to any other family looking for amazing care
They take such good care of our girl ❤️
Meeting the kids where they are and not putting them in box based on age
Complete incompetence.
Teachers are very loving and warm but administrative incompetence is the reason everyone is leaving in droves.
My children are fortunate to have teachers who truly care. We consistently receive thoughtful feedback on their progress, along with guidance on how we can better support them on their learning journey.
My daughter has one year left, and I know she will be very sad to leave. With Ms. Mariana and Ms. Kelis, she is challenged every day in ways that help her grow and prepare for kindergarten.
My son is in the care of Ms. Eli, Ms. Joan, and Ms. Tati, and we’ve seen him flourish over the past few months.
What stands out most is that every teacher in the school knows my children and cares for them as if they were their own.
Safe, flexible, and accommodating to kids with allergies
So thankful for the wonderful staff at Lightbridge’s who care for our littles and provide peace of mind for moms and dads!

They are always very thorough with sharing with the families what they are working on and very friendly!
